Lead Pastor Chad Allen guides us into the third week of "Parenting 216," the fall teaching series on parenting from Galatians 5. Pastor Chad will show us that the Spirit-led parent has a fruit filled home. If we are abiding in Christ and walking by the Spirit, the fruit of the Spirit will flow from us into our homes and upon the lives of our children. Not only can this help create environments rich in the Spirit's presence, but also through modeling increase the odds that our kids will abide in Christ, walk by the Spirit and demonstrate the fruit of the Spirit in their lives too.

CVCYouth and Missions Associate Pastor Joe Valenti brings us the second message in "Parenting 216," the teaching series from Galatians 5. Pastor Joe will show us that the best thing for our kids is for them to follow Jesus and be indwelt with the Holy Spirit.

Lead Pastor Chad Allen kicks off the "Parenting 216" teaching series from the book of Galatians. Pastor Chad will be looking at how we can be free to love and serve our kids in Galatians 5:13-15. Our primary goal as parents is to reflect Jesus the best we can. Our flesh will regularly attempt to sabotage this goal and pull us toward parenting by law. But we have been freed from the flesh so that we can extravagantly love and and serve our children. We do so hoping that they too will come to experience the love and grace of Jesus in their lives.

CVC Youth and Missions Pastor Joe Valenti closes out "Liberated," the Summer 2018 teaching series from the book of Galatians. Pastor Joe will be looking at Galatians 6:11-16 as he shows us that Jesus+Nothing=Everything. And Pastor Joe will guidde us to the cross of Christ. When you think about the cross, what things come to mind? Is it just a religious symbol? Does it bring up old memories from church or another religion?

Lead Pastor Chad Allen takes us into week 10 of "Liberated," the Summer 2018 teaching series in the book of Galatians as he looks at Galatians 6:1-10 and shows us how to walk together. God has called us to walk by the Spirit - together. Although walking by the Spirit is an individual responsibility, God has designed the benefits of walking by the Spirit to also be lived out and experienced in community as part of our "one another" character as the body of Christ. This is part of how we fulfill Galatians 5:13-14: "In love, serve one another," and "love your neighbor."

Lead Pastor Chad Allen welcomes us into Week 8 of our summer study, Liberated, a series on the book of Galatians. Pulling from previous weeks' teachings and scripture from Galatians 5:1-16, we see that faith in Christ frees us from legalistic religion, from a license to sin, and to a life of loving God and others. As ones who have been liberated by God's grace and Christ's work on the cross, we do not drift toward legalism or toward sinning it up. We've been invited to walk in the Liberty that is ours in Christ through the Spirit, and that liberty will result in a great love for God and a great love for others. Our Freedom in Christ fuels our love for God and others!

We just passed the halfway point of our summer series "Liberated", a study in the book of Galatians. This week we welcome guest speaker Oleh Zhakunets, Pastor of Mercy Hill Chapel, to guide us through Galatians 4:8-20. In this section of scripture, we get to learn about the personal anguish and heartache Paul feels through the course of his ministry. He loves the followers of Christ in Galatia. He is seeking to protect them and correct them. But these believers in Galatia have been influenced by the Jews who have said that the gospel is Jesus plus something - keeping the rules, rituals, and regulations of the Jewish religion. Join us as we learn more about Paul's personal difficulties, and our own struggles, in staying strong and faithful to the message of Christ alone when the world around us strives to add more!

Lead Pastor Chad Allen teaches us this week from Galatians 3:15-4:7. As he guides us through this passage, we learn that since we are set free from our sin through our faith in Christ alone, we become something incredible. Whereas once we were slaves to sin and encumbered by the law, through faith in Christ we are adopted into God's family as sons and daughters of the Most High King.
