We can believe the Bible because it is a divinely given and miraculously preserved set of reliable and unified documents written by eyewitnesses during the lifetime of other eyewitnesses that report historical, supernatural and prophesied events to connect people in relationship with God and transform lives.

On Easter 2018 weekend, Lead Pastor Chad Allen kicks off this series on Big Questions and Real Answers. The first big question is: "Why do we believe Jesus rose from the dead?" Pastor Chad will be looking at 1 Corinthians 15:12-22. He'll show us that the burden of proof for the resurrection of Jesus is not on the believer but the unbeliever.

Founding Pastor Rick Duncan closes out the "Prayer" teaching series with a look at why we pray. Pastor Rick will show us from Matthew 7:7-11 that God's greatness and goodness prompt prayers of boldness and confidence. Pastor Dale Piscura, Men's Discipleship, brings us the first of four messages on the what, who, how and why of Prayer leading up to Easter. Pastor Dale will be looking at Hebrews 4:16 as he shows us how we need to pray like Jesus as we approach God's Throne with confidence that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.

Lead Pastor Chad Allen returns from neck surgery recovery to conclude the ReCalibrate series. Pastor Chad will be looking at Isaiah 61:1-4 and casting the vision for CVC for the years to come. Pastor Chad will show us that God restores what is broken, now and ultimately in the future. But there are still battles we have to fight today and tomorrow in our bodies, hearts, minds, families, communities and the world. And God knows, and God cares. God has a plan. God helps us fight those battles together and to reach out to those who do not have Christ or the Christian community. We are planted for the Lord's glory.
