Messages from Kingsfield Common for the Kingdom of Jesus Christ

Satan is seeking to deceive all humanity. He has and will place his identity on all people and will work to destroy all who continue to pledge allegiance to Jesus. We must be on guard. We must be wise and discerning so that we don’t take on this false identity.

As disciples with balanced relationships, we are called to nurture the ‘out’, which is relationships in the world beyond us. We’ve been blessed to be a blessing. We are called to be a people who ‘extend’ the kingdom. We’ll explore how this reality shapes K-ZMC.

Here we see Jesus from a few different perspectives that challenge us to recognize, encounter and follow him in his mission.

As disciples with balanced relationships, we are called to nurture the ‘in’, which is relationships around us. Jesus and Paul took people under their wing to nurture as disciples. Who is under your wing? Who’s wing are you under? How do we shape K-ZMC so that discipling one another is always central?

We live in a world where the beast is at work trying to destroy God’s people. We must resist his influnece, refusing to ever be marked by him. May we proceed with clarity and allegiance to Christ.

The evil we see in the world is Satan flailing in the throes of death. He’s running around like a chicken with his head cut off. But, Jesus has the victory… and Satan knows it. Thus, we triumph by keeping God’s commands and holding fast to Jesus.

Jesus invites us to follow Him. To become more like Him. The Learning Circle is a tool to guide us on that journey. Are we willing to dig in and submit ourselves to a process of transformation? What will that journey look like? May we grow as disciples!

Peter royally screwed up. I have. You have too. In our own different ways. Will we let that failure define us and disqualify us? Will we work harder to earn Jesus’ favour? Or fade into the background with shame? Or will we, like Peter, receive Jesus’ words of healing mercy? Will we be set free, like Peter to joyfully, courageously extend his kingdom? We will consider how we can become a generous people, as a response to God’s grace. We’ve been given much. How can I see it is ‘ours’ and ultimately ‘God’s’ rather than just ‘mine’. Like the Macedonians, can we give more than we’re even able? 2 Corinthians 8:11 – 9:15
