Trudy will be sharing about how victims of sexual abuse can find healing. She will also be sharing about how we can create churches that are safe spaces. There will be a focus on hope and healing through Jesus.

John 21:1-14 Following his resurrection, Jesus extends His blessing and presence to his disciples. This is seen in a surprising catch of fish and breakfast over a campfire. Jesus will not let his disciples simply go back to fishing, relatively unchanged. He is calling them, indeed he is calling us, into a new life of blessing with him. Will we receive it?

We are sharing about living among and building relationships with people of another culture. Words like listening, learning and serving – with respect — apply in such situations. As we interact and hear each other’s stories, we begin living in reconciling ways with each other. We are all on a journey!

John 20:30-31 John reveals his whole purpose and aim for writing his Gospel in these 2 verses… that you may believe that Jesus is the Messiah, and thus have life. Ryan will be highlighting what ‘Messiah’ means, and urging us to believe so that we can have true, full, everlasting life. There will be may an ‘evangelistic’ nature to the message.

John 20:24-29 Thomas doubted and then upon experiencing Jesus, he believed. We have all experienced doubt in various ways. Like with Thomas, Jesus is right there with us. He is patient. And, he calls us out of doubt and into belief. This text will explore the interplay between doubt and belief.
