In this episode, we look at the early church and it’s use of bread in communion, then we continue our look at the IAMCS steering committee’s 2014 paper “One Law, Two Sticks.” While proponents of the this view continue to claim they are not “anti-Gentile” this paper along with their suggestions on “unity” paint a very different picture.

In this episode, we start by looking at several comments, one being on the future celebration of Sukkot by all nations and the idea of going up to Israel for the festivals. Then we turn once again to the One Law Two Sticks article by the IAMCS. The article now moves to specific teachers within the Hebrew Roots and focuses on Two House theology. In the end, we talk about God’s plan and how no amount of article writing will change God’s plan.

In this episode, we address questions of canon and why Esther should be in our Bible. We also look at the idea the Torah is the bench mark of inspired Scripture. We then, once again, turn to the paper we have been going through by the IAMCS titled “One Law, Two Sticks.” We finally get into the portion of the paper where they attempt to characterize One Law as a false Gospel.

In this show, I sit down with David Wilber to talk about his new book Pseudo-Scripture. Should the books of 1 Enoch, Jubilees, and Jasher be part of the biblical Canon? Historically the answer has been “no,” but in modern times some, especially in the Hebrew Roots movement are taking a different view suggesting these books are, in fact, inspired Scripture. Wilber will talk about his book and why he takes the historical view that these books are not in fact Scripture. Beyond this, we will also talk about Wilber’s new article on the Hebrew Roots movement and what makes this movement different than the Messianic movement.

In this episode, we first look at Acts 10 and Peter’s vision and discuss the various elements of this story. We then walk through Hebrews 8-9 to see if we can understand how the priesthood might fit into this narrative. Finally, we look at credal Christianity and the idea of drawing lines in the theological sand. When do we say a person’s belief places them outside the covenant?
