On the latest episode of the “Amazin’ But True” podcast, Jake Brown and Nelson Figueroa open the show talking about the Mets taking two of three games from the Diamondbacks. They discuss Tylor Megill pitching well, Francisco Lindor and Starling Marte propelling the team, the hot April start and ranting about Yankees fans throwing beers on the field. In “Figgie’s Fables,” Figgie tells a story of his experience with fans acting out at games. Jake then returns to the Nelson Figueroa Spanish Academy to learn how to say “drunk fans” and “best major league team.” They wrap the show up with Jake relating to Eduardo Escobar’s dislike for cats and Figgie’s opening weekend coaching for the Ferryhawks.
