What is it really like to seek help for erectile dysfunction?
In this episode, one of my patients shares his personal experience with erectile dysfunction (ED) and low-intensity shockwave therapy (LiWST)—from deciding to see a doctor to what the treatment actually felt like and the changes he noticed afterward.
One patient, one experience, and an honest conversation about ED.

From magazine editor to lifestyle creator, Brenda turned what she loves into a career of her own.
We talk about life behind the KOL label, motherhood, career, and finding space for yourself while juggling all the roles life gives you.
Can we become mothers without losing who we are?
Everyone knows Viagra—but did you know that sildenafil wasn't originally developed for erectile dysfunction?
So how did an unexpected observation become one of the world's best-known medications? And what about the famous story that some participants didn't want to give the pills back—fact, fiction, or a little bit of both?

You have medical insurance. You were diagnosed with an illness. Your doctor recommended treatment. So why might your insurance claim still be denied?
In this episode, I sit down with insurance advisor Kitty to look at medical claims from both sides—the doctor’s perspective and the insurance perspective.
We talk about why a medical diagnosis may not always match an insurance policy’s definition of a covered condition, why a medically appropriate treatment does not automatically guarantee reimbursement, and where misunderstandings about coverage often begin.
Most importantly, we discuss what patients and consumers can do to better understand their policies and protect themselves when expectations and coverage don’t match.
Because in medicine and insurance, the same words don’t always mean the same thing.

We shared what happened after we came back to Taiwan. Returning home brought another kind of culture shock—we had to adjust to a different classroom, new friendships, and, perhaps most of all, the struggles within ourselves. Looking back, those years of adjustment were also some of the years in which we grew the most.

In this episode, my younger sister joins me to look back on our years growing up and attending international school in Bangkok.
From cultural differences and friendships with classmates from around the world to questions of identity and belonging, we talk about what that experience gave us beyond learning English—and how it quietly shaped the adults we eventually became.

I had the privilege of being the very first guest on Shi-Wei Loves Health.
Years later, we reunited—not just to talk about the show, but about everything we've learned along the way.
In this heartfelt conversation, Shi-Wei and I reflect on building health content, overcoming criticism, finding purpose, and growing together through the people we've met.
This isn't just the story behind a program—it's the story of why we continue creating.

I had the privilege of being the very first guest on 詩瑋愛健康, and it's been wonderful to watch the show grow over the years.
In this episode, 詩瑋 joins me to look back on that journey—from launching a health program to interviewing countless physicians and health experts.
We talk about the challenges, memorable moments, and lessons learned behind the microphone, and how creating health content has shaped both of us.

Why is it so difficult to follow medical advice—even when we know it's good for us?
In this episode, endocrinologist Dr. Chen joins me for an honest doctor-to-doctor conversation about patient adherence, chronic disease management, and the challenges of helping people build healthier habits.
We also discuss practical tips for diabetes management during special meals, the balance between medication, nutrition, and exercise, and why managing chronic diseases isn't about immediate rewards—it's about protecting your future health.
