Until very recently he served as the Chief of Staff and Principal Secretary for Andrea Horwath and the Ontario NDP Caucus. He was named acting Chief of Staff for Jagmeet Singh in 2018. And he served as the Chief of Staff for Premiers Gary Doerr and Greg Selinger in Manitoba. Michael has also been the CEO of the Ontario Nurses Association. And he has 6 years of international political experience with the National Democratic Institute, mostly in Bosnia and Herzegovina, while living in Sarajevo for four years.
