Yesterday Michael witnessed a tragic shark attack on the mid north coast of NSW.  He had been filming offshore for Reel Action TV and was heading back to the boat ramp when he was made aware a surfer nearby was being attacked by a shark.  Michael, who was on a PWC at the time, went to assist the surfers who had come to the man’s aid and scan the area for the shark before emergency services arrived.

In what was a very emotional day, not just for those involved, but the wider Australian community, Michael felt it necessary to address the questions he has received and remind us of some key signs to look for before entering the water.
