Feeling not good enough about yourself may come from childhood wounds where we learn patterns and perspectives from our upbringing. The first part of my mindful practice is recognizing that your thoughts and beliefs are only thoughts. Even though they may be based on life experiences, you can choose and change the perspective of them anytime. These self-doubts hold a lot less weight when you realize that they are just thoughts in your mind. The second part of my mindful practice is recognizing that self-love is the key to feeling that you are enough.

This meditation is about being in the flow - where you can lose all sense of self, all sense of environment. Not zoning out - but zoning in. Being so focused that time isn’t there. Flow cannot be forced. Unfortunately, the more we work not to be anxious or to get the feeling of flow, the more likely we are to get in our own way. We trip ourselves up and prevent ourselves from the state of flow. We can however unwind from contraction that comes from being caught up in feeling guilty, stressed, anxious. And as that contraction unwinds, especially with the help of being mindful, we naturally expand, moving more in the direction of joy, more towards flow.

During this meditation, you quiet your mind as you relax the body. The more relaxed your body, the more likely you are to wake up refreshed and with less tension. Using your breath to let each body part go.

Benefits can include improved awareness, reduced stress, better sleep, help coping with pain, improved focus, increased self-compassion and gratitude, and ao much more. The basic way to practice this is to either lie or sit down, focus on your breath, then scan sensations from the top of your head to the bottom of your head without judging.
