Delegate Neil Parrott. Born in Bethesda, Maryland, he graduated from University of Maryland, College Park, with a B.S. in civil engineering and Mt. St. Mary’s University with an MBA, and he currently owns his own traffic consulting business, Traffic Solutions Incorporated. He was elected in 2010 as a Republican Delegate representing Washington County and serves on the House Judiciary Committee. As founder of MDPetitions.com, he was the architect of efforts to help put referendums on the ballot. Del. Parrott is a stalwart conservative leader in Annapolis who was named the Republican Man of the Year in 2012. and father of three children.

In an effort to break the stigma on the opioid crisis, the Frederick County Sheriff's Office, Frederick County Chamber of Commerce, and the Frederick Health Department hosted an opioid addiction summit.

A room full of advocates, health professionals, law enforcement, and members of the community packed into a building at the Frederick Fairgrounds to take a stand against the opioid crisis.

Jim and Amanda Addington are volunteers who find homes for the Frederick Keys baseball players to live in during their season in Frederick. The Frederick Keys minor league baseball team is the Class A-Advanced affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles. The Keys are based in Frederick, Maryland. The franchise is named for Star Spangled Banner poet Francis Scott Key, a native of Frederick County. A new team mascot "Frank Key", short for Francis Scott Key, Homes for players are still needed. Call the Keys if you are interested.

Sheriff Chuck Jenkins was born in Frederick County and graduated high school in 1974. After 16 years in the communication satellite industry, he went through Harford County Law Enforcement Academy and in 1990 became employed by the Frederick County Sheriff’s Department. In 1993 Jenkins became a criminal investigator, and that was a very good thing for him, and he was inspired to go on and do a lot of other stuff. And that’s when we get into the crazy part.

Jenkins’ pet issue is illegal immigration, which boggles the mind.
