Roscoe  Bartlett was a Republican member of the U.S. House of Representatives representing Maryland's 6th Congressional District. Bartlett served in the House from 1992 to 2013. Bartlett ran for re-election in 2012 and was defeated by Democratic challenger John Delaney on November 6, 2012

Neil is a lifelong Maryland resident who believes in the founding principles of our country: Lower Taxes, Limited Government, and Individual Responsibility. He lives in Hagerstown with his wife of 14 years, April, and their 3 children, Patience, Charity, and Neilson.

Neil graduated from the University of Maryland at College Park with a BS in Civil Engineering, then went to work for the Maryland State Highway Administration as a Traffic Engineer. He obtained his Masters in Business Administration from Mount St. Mary’s University, earning a 4.0 and being selected as the student graduation speaker.

After 12 years, Neil left state employment to become the Deputy Director of Public Works for Engineering at the City of Frederick. With valuable state and municipal experience under his belt, Neil took on the challenge of starting his own small traffic engineering business, Traffic Solutions, Inc. (TRSI) in Washington County. The business employs full and part-time employees and has helped improve roadways in the tri-state region.

Kai Hagen was elected to the Frederick County Council (At-Large) in 2018. Previously, he was elected to Frederick County Board of County Commissioners in 2006, where he served through 2010. Kai and his wife, Kirsten, have two sons, Tor, 27, and Leif, 22. After growing up in Washington DC, Kai left the area to attend St. Olaf College in Minnesota, returning east after a dozen years there and eight more in California. For most of that time, he worked with a number of environmental organizations. The family moved to the City of Frederick in 1995, and then to northern Frederick County in 2000. Since they first settled in Frederick County, Kai has been highly engaged in the community. 

For the last eight years, he has served as the Director of Envision Frederick County, a non-profit organization founded on the principle that informed public discourse and active engagement of individuals and groups in our civic life are essential to our mutual well-being and prosperity.

Frederick County DSS, Foster Care for Children and Licensing Description FOSTER CARE: Places children in either foster homes or group homes when it is clearly determined that the children can no longer remain in their own homes. Placements are court-ordered with the intent to return children to their own home as soon as possible.

FOSTER HOME LICENSING: Provides the opportunity for individuals and families

to become licensed foster parents for non-related children. Applicants must be 21 years of age, in good health, meet your family's financial obligations, pass a home health and fire inspection, agree not to use physical punishment, agree to a criminal background check, and complete training requirements. Blessings In A Backpack -Frederick mobilizes our local community, individuals and resources to provide food on the weekends and during school breaks for local school children who might otherwise go hungry. Our mission is to raise awareness of childhood hunger and improve the lives of local children who depend on school meals as their primary source of nutrition, by providing food when school meals are not available.

Phil Dacey was born in Frederick and graduated from Thomas Johnson High School in 1996 and the University of Maryland, College Park in 2000. 

Phil served as a Chief of Staff in the Maryland Senate from 2001-2005.  While working there he began attending the University of Baltimore Law School at night, graduating magna cum laude and becoming a member of the Maryland bar in 2008. 

Since 2006, Phil has served in a variety of capacities at the Maryland Department of Transportation.  He currently serves as the Deputy Administrator for the Maryland Department of Transportation Motor Vehicle Administration.
