Ari Aster's first movie, Hereditary, was a sleeper horror hit. Now he follows that up with 2019's Midsommar. Written and directed by Aster, he takes us on a strange yet colorful journey through a trippy Swedish Solstice festival. 

Midsommar is a master class in filmmaking, technically sound, and amazingly shot. It is not a perfect film by a long shot, but it was a worthy follow up to his first film.
