The members are heavily influenced by blues artists such as Freddie King, Peter Green, Eric Clapton, the Allman Brothers, Robben Ford, Joe Bonamassa, Janis Joplin and of course, Jimi Hendrix. Originally from Houston, Texas, Teresa now lives in Los Angeles where she works with her band, The Rhythm Tramps. They have been working together for several years in the LA area and at blues festivals around the country, and throughout Europe. The band has been a featured act the last 7 years on Delbert McClinton's Sandy Beaches Blues Cruise.

Now with the release of her new CD... THE BOTTOM LINE... on New Light Entertainment Records which is distributed by Universal Records, Teresa for the first time will have major national distribution and radio promotion.

She has performed live with such legendary artists as Levon Helm, Delbert McClinton, Bonnie Raitt, Kirk Whalum, Marcia Ball, Tommy Castro, Al Anderson, Asleep at the Wheel, Lee Roy Parnell, and many others. Her voice is featured on albums by Kirk Whalum, Randy Newman, Tommy Castro, Lee Roy Parnell, Walter Trout, Stephen Bruton, and Glen Clark, among many. She has sung for television and movie soundtracks; She and her band can be heard in the Disney movie, "HOLES".

Teresa's band is an eclectic mix of Los Angeles based musicians who have worked with a wide range of artists including: Jimmy Reed, Eric Burdon, Jackson Browne, Taj Mahal, Bonnie Raitt, Kim Carnes, Jennifer Warnes, Was Not Was, Johnny Nash and many, many others. As one listener put it: "There are no clichés in this band."

Together they have created a sound that is funky and greasy, where New Orleans meets Texas Blues and everyone has a good time.

Junkyard Jane is a Northwest "Swampabilly" blues band performing original music and consisting of: vocalist/percussionist Leanne Trevalyan, vocalist/guitaristBilly Stoops, bassist Barbra Blue and drummer Chris Leighton.

The band coined the term "Swampabilly" as their defining genre when forced to describe their sound; a gumbo of Americana, blues, country, folk, funk, rock, and swampy, New Orleans influenced music written by songwriters Trevalyan and Stoops.[1]

Former members include saxophonist Susan Orfield, trombonist Randy Oxford, harmonicist/saxophonist Jim King, bassist Alex Featherstone and drummers Darin Watkins and Tom Sunderland.

As an outstanding new artist, Mia Vermillion’s presence on the blues scene is on the rise and rapidly garnering the attention of both fans and critics. Mia recently tore up the main stage at the Safeway Waterfront Blues Festival in Portland, Oregon playing ahead of Patrick Lamb, Curtis Salgado and Buddy Guy. In early 2011, Mia opened two nights for Grammy nominee and Blues Hall of Fame inductee John Hammond at Seattle’s Jazz Alley.

Mia’s charismatic stage presence is supported by a crew of very gifted musicians: Jason Edwards, a talented young percussionist out of Seattle, on drums and percussion; Jon Bayless on bass; and Rod Cook on slide and acoustic guitar. Collectively, these musicians have performed and recorded with such notable artists as Heart, Taj Mahal, Vicci Martinez, The Halyards, and James “Curley” Cooke of the Steve Miller Band.

With a solid rhythm section and guitar backing her, Mia Vermillion brings her own songs, beats and style to the blues creating a fresh, unique sound. “…One of the best vocalists I’ve heard in a while…” says Graham Clarke with Blues Bytes Magazine. The release of Mia Vermillion’s independent debut CD titled “Alone Together With the Blues” sealed Mia’s transition into national awareness. The album received National attention and rave reviews, boasting airplay on The Roots Music Report Blues Radio chart Top 50 (2 weeks at #45 and #46) as well as rocketing to #2 on XM Radio’s B.B. King’s Bluesville’s ‘Picks to Click’ with her recording of I’m Going to Copyright Your Kisses.

Mia and guitar/dobro master Orville Johnson won the Washington Blues Society’s blues challenge in the Solo/Duo category allowing them to represent the Society at the prestigious Blues Foundation 26th International Blues Challenge in Memphis, Tennessee.

This Grammy nominated, Washington Blues Society and Cascade Blues Association Hall of Famer and recipient of the 2010 Lifetime Achievement Award, continues to be a favorite wherever she performs. Whether it be an intimate club, theater or festival setting, Duffy Bishop connects and delivers with her personal warmth, humor and booming emotional voice. In her four decades of performing professionally, she has shared the stage with many legends, including Ruth Brown, John Lee Hooker, Lou Rawls, Bonnie Raitt, Shemekia Copeland, Bobby Blue Bland and the great Paul deLay. With her long time collaborator, guitarist and husband Chris Carlson, they have played venues across the USA, Canada, Norway, Japan, Hong Kong and Austria. She has recorded seven cd’s, and has a new release due out Spring of 2012. When not touring with the band, Duffy and Chris join Teatro ZinZanni, a brilliant and crazy circus/cabaret/dinner show, since 1998, with theaters in both Seattle and San Francisco. Duffy has starred as Madame ZinZanni, a role also performed by Heart's Ann Wilson, the amazing Thelma Houston, and world icon Joan Baez.

Since breaking into the Portland Blues scene in the Mid-80's, Franco Paletta has become one of the mainstays of the city's Blues fans. His dynamic harp style and unique vocals has made him one of Portland's favorite Blues personalities.  His Harmonic influences include:  Sonny Boy Williamson, Paul Butterfield, James Cotton, Little Walter Jacobs, Big Walter Horton, Kim Wilson, William Clark, Rod Piazz and others. - - - -    "There are just so many great players, I try to take a little from each of them!  I mix'em up, and it just comes out Franco."As good as his Harp Playing is, Franco's strong vocals are what thrills the listeners.  He has a unique vocal style that let's you know that you are listening to a true Bluesman. "I was born in a tar-paper shack in the Mississippi Delta," guitarist Chris Carlson stated stone-faced as we began our interview. "Nah! Not really," he broke out laughing. "I bet you get a lot of people who say that." It was a eccentric moment sitting across from one another at the dining room table of the Northeast Portland home Chris shares with his musical and life partner, Duffy Bishop.
