The Office star, who received an honorary degree, initiated the fun as The Ting Tings' "That's Not My Name" played, keeping the mood light in true Michael Scott fashion.

After his energetic minute of dancing, Carell jokingly quipped, "That was as invigorating as it was disturbing," adding, "Wow, am I out of shape.”

The British survivor of the Air India plane crash attended the cremation of his brother, who was also on the ill-fated flight, in Ahmedabad on Wednesday.

Vishwas Kumar Ramesh, a 40-year-old businessman from Leicester, was returning to London on flight AI171 last week when it crashed into a medical college building shortly after taking off from the Ahmedabad airport in the western state of Gujarat.

Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Thursday (June 19) that Germany would be directly involved in the war in Ukraine if it supplied Taurus cruise missiles to Kyiv.

After eight weeks of testimony, a jury has found Karen Read not guilty of second-degree murder in the death of her Boston police officer boyfriend John O’Keefe, in what prosecutors called a tragic case of love turned lethal but what the defense claimed was a police cover-up.

The jury spent about 22 hours deliberating before finding Read, 45, not guilty of second degree murder but guilty of a lesser charge of drunk driving in the 2022 death of O’Keefe, 46, who was found unresponsive in a snowbank outside a Canton home after a night of drinking.

Reza Pahlavi, the exiled son of Iran’s last Shah, toppled in the 1979 Islamic Revolution, published a video address on Tuesday, 17 June, reiterated his call for a regime change in Tehran, adding that the Islamic Republic is collapsing and that the time has come for the Iranian people to “reclaim Iran."

He said Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei had “gone into hiding underground" and lost control of the country, describing the moment as “irreversible."

“The end of the Islamic Republic is the end of its 46-year war against the Iranian nation," he wrote, adding, “Now is the time to rise."
