This is the moment an Israel missile strike hits a live Iran news broadcast as debris fills the studio.

The blast interrupted a live programme on the Islamic Republic of Iran News Network (IRNN) on Monday (16 June).

As the news anchor reports on another attack, a loud bang can be heard and the camera shakes as the building is directly hit.

The news anchor flees the scene as the studio fills with dust and debris, before the channel switches to a pre-recorded broadcast.

This marks the fourth day of direct strikes between the two countries.

Families are anguished and tensions are rising due to the slow DNA identification process after the Air India crash in Ahmedabad, where 241 passengers and crew died.

More than 72 hours after the crash, only 22 bodies have been identified and returned to their families, with DNA samples matched in 47 cases, though some remains belong to the same victims.

The DNA identification process is slow due to the condition of the bodies, with officials stating it routinely takes three to four days.

Astonishing footage appears to show the moment the sole survivor of the Air India crash walks away from the burning wreckage.

The video shows the Boeing 787-8 plane engulfed in a huge fireball as civilians watch on in horror.

The sole survivor of the crash, British man Vishwash Kumar Ramesh, then appears on his phone, walking away from the wreckage.

Mr Ramesh was taken to hospital but miraculously only suffered minor injuries.

Iran and Israel have launched a fresh wave of attacks on each other in a development that continues to raise fears of the wider region being plunged into a destabilising conflict.

Iranian missiles struck Tel Aviv and the port city of Haifa shortly before dawn on Monday, killing at least eight people and wounding more than 100 others, while destroying homes and causing damage to the US embassy.

A tourist sat on a “Van Gogh chair" while posing for photos at an art gallery in Verona before the piece collapsed underneath him.

“An irresponsible gesture caused serious damage to Nicola Bolla’s Van Gogh chair, a very delicate work,” the museum said, later adding that the chair was able to be repaired.

Tensions escalated during "No Kings" protests against Donald Trump on the streets of downtown Los Angeles on Saturday, 14 June, as police sought to disperse demonstrators with abrupt orders to leave.

Protesters were pushed back by officers on horseback, and law enforcement also fired flash bangs and canisters of tear gas to clear out demonstrators after the formal event ended.

Millions of people were estimated to have joined the protests in more than 2,000 communities, which took place the same day as a military parade in Washington, D.C., for the Army’s 250th anniversary, which coincided with the president’s birthday.

Demonstrations protested what organisers described as Mr Trump’s authoritarian agenda, including recent immigration raids that have rattled communities across the country, including in LA.
