Madrid residents flocked to supermarkets on Monday (April 28) as large parts of Spain and Portugal were hit by a power outage.

Spanish power grid operator Red Electrica said it was working with energy companies to restore power.

E-Redes, a Spanish electricity grid monitoring company, said in a statement it was working on reestablishing connection in phases.

People were seen buying milk, canned goods, sweets and toilet paper, among other non-perishable goods.

In October, 2016, a gang of robbers rampaged through her apartment where she was alone while her bodyguard was out with her sister, Kourtney, during the French capital’s Fashion Week.

Ten people, including five male pensioners dubbed the “Grandpa robbers,” now face trial nearly nine years after the crime, which took place as Kardashian, then 35, visited the French capital for its 2016 Fashion Week.

Three eyewitnesses described what they saw after at least 11 people were killed when a car drove into a crowd at a Filipino heritage festival in the Canadian city of Vancouver.

The three eyewitness, who all have links to the Filipino community and are Vancouver residents, said they were in the shopping area at the end of the all-day Lapu Lapu festival when they heard the revving of a vehicle and loud noises from the street.

The vehicle entered the street at 8:14 pm (local time) on Saturday, the Vancouver Police Department said in a social media post.

An unknown number of people were also injured in the mass casualty incident at an event organized by the local Filipino community.
