CNN’s Anderson Cooper went on TV last night and said basically that if you never want to watch CNN again, he understands. Cooper was so distraught over Trump’s CNN town hall and believes his viewers were too. Should this be a fireable offense? Mike points out that Anderson Cooper is supposed to be objective and not an opinionated host. He is supposed to be a News man. There seems to be no unbiased news anymore. The ratings for the Trump CNN town hall were not that spectacular, but for CNN it was a big night. Also, the Left is freaking out over Trump calling CNN’s Kaitlan Collins ‘nasty’. It is really not all that serious and bad. Plus, Title 42 has now been lifted and the border crisis is about to totally explode and worsen dramatically. The House GOP passed a border security bill and the Democrats have opposed it. Biden has even opposed it. The marine veteran is now going to be charged by the Manhattan DA in the Jordan Neely subway chokehold death. Was this marine a hero for what he did?

The fifth episode of The Mike Gallagher Show’s “Week in Review Podcast” features all the significant topics we’ve covered this week. Donald Trump had an epic town hall on CNN with Kaitlan Collins. The CNN town hall legitimized Trump’s candidacy. There was a mass shooting in Texas and then very fatal car crash that killed just as many victims. However, the Left cares more about the mass shooting victims and we all know why. Texas State Senator Roland Gutierrez said that we can take our thoughts and prayers and essentially shove them where the sun don’t shine. Donald Trump was found liable for sexually abusing and defaming E. Jean Carroll and was ordered to pay $5 million in damages, after a civil trial. The California Reparations Task Force formally recommended that the state offer payments of up to $1.2 million to every qualifying Black resident. Robert F. Kennedy Jr. made it clear in an interview that he fundamentally understands that censorship is un-American. A new Washington Post/ABC News poll shows Biden trails his Trump by 7 points in a hypothetical 2024 general election matchup. There is a growing movement for schools across the country to reduce the school week from 5 to 4 days. This is already disastrous for our kids’ academic trajectory moving forward.

Mike shares how he was happy to be wrong about the Trump CNN town hall. It was victorious for former President Trump. CNN’s Kaitlan Collins moderated the town hall and her performance was not great. However, Mike says we should at least give CNN credit for bringing Trump on to the network. The Left absolutely freaked out over the town hall. You have to hear CNN’s Jake Tapper who almost cried and AOC whining about how shameful it was. Kaitlan Collins opened the town hall by asking Trump about the 2020 election. Then, her colleague asked a focus group member afterwards about Trump bringing up the 2020 election too much and got owned. The voter said that Trump was asked first about the 2020 election so what do they expect him to do. The truth is that they just don’t like his view of what happened in the 2020 presidential election. It was an epic night for Trump. What does this mean for Team DeSantis or for the other Republican presidential hopefuls?
