It was a frustrating weekend for the Mariners but hopefully we have learned our lesson about panicking. With that said, there are some areas they need to improve. Salk breaks those down. Salk thinks it will be interesting to see whether there are any changes to the depth chart this week or if the practice reps change for the QBs. Yes, Drew appeared to outplay Geno and he certainly has more upside, but we all know that already. Something that stood out was the way he took accountability Drew Lock took for his mistake, especially in contrast to Russell in the past. Brock Huard joins to share his thoughts on what position groups looked good & which ones just didn't.

Salk is happy to see Scott Servais got his 500th win as the Mariners manager, but is ready for the day when the team locks in, beats bad teams, takes advantage of bad pitching & starts to look playoff ready. This year's Seahawks rookie draft class has garnered a lot of praise and one big reason was 4th rounder CB Coby Bryant out of Cincinnati. Salk visited the Seahawks Training Camp for an exclusive interview to discuss his first year and even learn a footwork drill. Nobody is more excited than Gee Scott (97.3 KIROfm) for the start of Seahawks preseason and he makes a bold prediction about a rookie becoming a Pro Bowler. Salk tries to explain to him why the pitching duel between the M's and Yankees on Tuesday night was so fun to watch.

Injuries are never good but it's exciting that we will get to see more of Coby Bryant and Tariq Woolen this weekend for the Seahawks first preseason game against Pittsburgh. Pete Carroll said yesterday that Woolen has taken to the coaching really well and is developing at a similar rate to Richard Sherman. Salk plays a new game called "Which Mariner?" featuring a list of baseball (and non-baseball) related questions.
