What happens when you find old cassette tapes of yourself rapping when you were 13? Play them and review it on your podcast, of course!
What struggles did I have as an early teen? Apparently many, and on this episode of the Mikey Hates Horror Podcast, I play ‘Side A’ of my debut rap album, “Nothing Real”.
I never reveal why I named it “Nothing Real”, but 20 years later, I provide post-commentary to the “tracks” from my short-lived rap career. And by “tracks”, I mean a cappella rapping without a background beat because I didn’t have a studio or professional equipment. Just a boom box with a mic. Seriously.
This isn’t horror, but you’re still more than welcome to come along for the ride.
Episode 2 or “Side B” to ‘Nothing Real’ coming soon!
