MB was even a victim of attempted voter suppression and a victim of... boys. Thesis: why would anything good ever happen? Kiki also got played but by a friend, not a man and then by a man. Anyway!! The gals move on to discuss living legend JANE FONDA! THE ORIGINAL WOKE BAE. She's pretty profoundly amazing actually you should prob watch the docu.

To the disappointment of some folks in front row, this is a LIVE EPISODE. I feel like "live" has too many meanings but in this case, we recorded it in front of an audience. There was a lovely group of tourists from middle America who thought they were seeing a stand-up show but you know what, I think they had a blast! Ali Kolbert joins MB and Kiki to talk about The Sex and the City movie(s) and it's a hoot!! Ali gives us the rundown about Kanye's latest antics and they dish on the hot guy from MB's flight to Chicago, Drake+Chris Brown, and astrology. Oh whatever stop reading and just listen to it!!!

Then, of course, we get into Yorgos Lanthimos' new feature, The Favourite. This movie is WACKY! A funny, twisted period piece starring Emma Stone, Rachel Weisz, and Olivia Colman (whose character, the queen, has GOUT). Watch Single Parents on ABC!!!

We are live! I mean... we recorded this but we were live at the time. Tuesday 9/25 was such an annoying day bc it rained and everything sucked! But that didn't stop Kiki and MB from dishing a per usual. Sorry we missed last week the studio was under construction. We talked about how guys always have the upper hand (until marriage), the Emmy's, straight men, uhhhh also MB wants to move to LA, etc. A Simple Favor was good! We recommend if you like good clothing, hair capes, twists, turns, etc.

We're baaaack!! What do words really mean anymore? Kiki and MB don't discuss this on the podcast episode. But what they do discuss is Mac Miller's untimely passing, suicide, Steve Carrell, TIFF (general) and more! Also did you know we're living in a post-comedy world? That's what I heard. We also touch on some Emmy's stuff and then FINALLY the masterpiece that is HBO's Insecure. It's p fun I guess :)

Jake is back!! MB's ex stops by again and... we love!!! In this ep we get into some serious issues like drinking alcohol, having opinions, and how MB really needed to paint her nails that night (but she didn't actually end up painting them until days later). The general public is ready for A Star is Born, which received a 7 minute standing ovation at a film festival (that name of which escapes me). MB, Kiki, and Jakey also do their birth charts according to which Brady Bunch character they are before getting into the Amy Winehouse documentary (Jake has yet to see). BUT the really tea is actually about The Devil Wears Prada. ARE HER FRIENDS THE ASSHOLES? Lol yeah.
