What we are thinking on a daily basis is who we are. We look forward to hearing that we are good and faithful servants of the Lord. We must walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God.

We are saved as a gift from God. He prepares our good works to walk in them. Creation has a purpose and so do we. We are to do good works which God prepared us to do before the beginning of time. We are not to be conformed by this world but be transformed by the renewing of our mind through careful study of the Bible and prayer.

We are kept by God until we are safely home with Him. He will perfect and restore us through the blood of Christ then we will be made complete. He is the potter we are the clay.

A covenant is a contract. Christ is the everlasting covenant through the shedding of His blood for our sins. We bow to Him as Savior and we are His people. Christ chose us before the world began. The peace we seek is a life with Christ.

Jesus declares Himself as the great Shepherd of the sheep. He knows us and we know Him. He provides and we are satisfied. Yea though I walk through the valley of death I will fear no evil. Your rod and staff they comfort me. As Christians we have a peace that passes all understanding.

We are enemies with God until we know Him abd accept Him and His terms. We lose the sin battle to Christ by accepting His laws then we become a people of true peace.

Romans 5-30-33 - Now I beg you brethren, through the love of the Spirit that you strive together with me in prayers to God for me.- We should have a common prayer life that is Christ centric. As we pray God works through us.

Christ builds up His spiritual house, a holy priesthood. The role of a pastor and teacher is a calling and has been since the beginning of the Church in Acts. In 1 Peter 5-1-4 Christ is the overseer and the Pastor is the underseer. There is great joy in the Church when everyone is doing their part.

Christ gave His life sacrificially for my salvation in spite of my sinfulness. We are to live as Christ loves. Faith without works is dead. 1 John 3-18 -My little children, let us not love in word or tongue but in deed and in truth.

As followers of Christ we must give ourselves as a sacrifice to God. Daily we must deny our worldly instincts and look to Scripture as the pattern for our lives. If we abide in Christ we will bear fruit that is acceptable to honor God.
