As believers we do not have a continuing city because we know this is soon gone and God will burn down and destroy our world. But a new one replaces it by Christ. Matthew 24-35 Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away. Paul states that our citizenship is in Heaven. Everything is temporal yet we eagerly wait for Jesus Christ.

Come out from among them and be different. The Church should not reflect the world but we should give the world Christ. We must embrace Jesus as we live for Him. We should give our life to Him publicly as a testimony of our faith in Christ.

It hurt Christ both physically and emotionally to give His life for us. The gift was specific for you and I. Why did He do this- To make us Holy, to consecrate and dedicate us to be an instrument for Christ. We get to live our life in joy because He died outside the camp.

The Lord's table is an altar on which we remember Christ sacrifice for us. An altar suggests reverence. As we approach the altar we are approaching Holy Ground. We are to be active as we live out our Christian life through our love and works for Him. We must lay all on the altar.

There are many false teachers and false doctrines. Hebrews 13-9 says, - Do not be carried about with various and strange doctrines.- For it is good that the heart be established by grace. We must be grounded in our faith in Christ. The more equipped we are in the faith the more we are established.

Paul tells Timothy to imitate him as he imitates Christ. This is the provocation of living up to Christ's standards. The understanding of Christ is our focus and then we follow Him. The more we relinquish our life to Christ the more joy and peace abound.

As Christians we should have a desire for a relationship with Christ. We must abide in God's love.This is the only way we have true joy and contentment. As we walk in a valley the Lord promises us that He will never leave or forsake us providing the comfort and strength we need and to live this life with contentment.

God is a jealous God when our eyes look beyond His provisions. He promises us that He will never leave us nor forsake us. Psalm 23 tells us that the Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want. We must be content with what God provides for us. Every good and perfect gift is from God. May our joy come from God above.

Christians are a temple of the living God. We can only come to Christ when we are broken. We can't accommodate sin. Our lives should be transformed looking more like Christ everyday. We can only find true peace when we live as Christ does.

The brothers and sisters of Christ in a Church are unlike any other organization. Ephesians 2- 19-22 says, We are not strangers or foreigners but fellow citizens with saints and members of the household of God. We are being built together for a dwelling place of God in the Spirit. As the family of God we are to love one another.
