James tells us the prayers of a righteous man availeth much. We are to have a relationship with the Lord and that happens in daily conversation through prayer and reading His words to us in His Bible. When we couple a holy life with a continuous prayer life we will know His will. Our life should glorify the Lord.

We must be available and unafraid to do the job God has designed us to do. We must listen to the still small voice as we get alone for prayer and Bible reading to understand God's purpose for our life. It is not possible to carry out the function God designed us for unless we know Him through His word. We must live and breath His word.

Jesus told the disciples abide in me and to pray without ceasing. Abiding and praying is our shield of faith. We should strive to be Christians at all times in our lives. He should be the shield of faith that protects us.

We should expect difficulty in our walk of faith. The world hates God and they hate us if we practice our faith. If we are quiet we face no opposition. Rather fear Him who is able to destroy both body and soul in hell. Make a proclamation of your faith actively living it out and God will bless your life.

The will of God is for you to be obedient to Him. If you are not obedient your life will be left unsettled. Many times we don't follow God and we sell salvation as a ticket to Heaven. We are called to have a relationship with Him so we can obtain the promises of God. All the promises are true and steadfast and He will keep them to the end.
