  • Episode 25: maybe DON’T be a creep

In the wake of the aftermath of the Cornell 7 incident, I, like so many others, am outraged. I feel anger, disgust, sympathy, and a strong urge to want severe consequences put upon those who did this horrific act of violence.

Most of all, the sad reality is that so many women have had some form or variation of this scenario happen to them. Being taken advantage of, not being able to trust a “friend”, being seen as nothing more than a physical object…it all hits too close to home.

Pardon the rant of this one, but s**t….maybe, just maybe, beyond us educating our kids and being better role models…..also, just DON’T BE A F*ING CREEP.

  • Episode 24: be the author, the poet, the director of your romanticized life

A very raw and just open podcast about the disillusionment with social media, trying to remain authentic to myself, reminding myself that conflict and struggle can co-exist with appreciation and beauty, and honestly just sharing some very deep thoughts on this little thing called life. If you’ve ever felt like life is happening but you’re not really feeling connected to it fully, or that things just aren’t really making a lot of sense right now and you’re actively trying to be more self-aware and accept that, then this is for you. Thanks for being here.-Tina :)

  • Episode 23: the quiet victory of consistency

Perhaps one of the most satisfying and mostly internal wins is the quiet victory of consistency. The discipline to stay steadfast at something really can reveal a lot about a person…what they value, how they view the long-term, how they build trust within themselves, etc.

I thought to riff on consistency because everything seems like it’s always changing so quickly in today’s world that there’s a false understanding of what it actually takes to get anywhere (in life, really). And I think people are kind of missing the point of actually sticking through with something. So 3-2-1, let’s dive in where the winners swim….consistency.

  • Episode 22: your story is happening NOW

Hi and hello there! Ya know the expression that the present is a gift? There’s been lots of things happening lately that have just sort of cemented that for me. Life has become increasingly more peaceful and joyful ever since I started realizing that truly the only thing that matters is the present moment.

And I know what you may be thinking….”duhhhh”. Yes, DUH! Because with social media stealing our attention, pressure coming from every which way to be someone or accomplish something, things that have happening to us in our past that we can’t make sense of….releasing the pressure of time and realizing that our true story is happening literally right in front of us is a very liberating feeling.

And so, hello hello, did ya miss me? Dive on in for a ramble of a good episode :)

  • Episode 21: it's a great day to begin anew

Hi friend! If you too are someone who is starting over in life or feel like sometimes things can feel so overwhelming before you even get started, this episode is for you. I felt inspired to come on after having a few ah-has for myself during this Leo season (roar), and I truly believe that my sharing of this “figuring it out” process can be helpful. So grab a cup of tea, go for a walk, or let yourself enjoy the quiet, and enjoy :)

  • Episode 20: nothing like some travel to put things into perspective

I am back, baby! Coming straight into episode 20 with a very raw, unedited, and unscripted podcast about how my recent travel to France has shifted my perspective on some things in life. Spoiler alert incoming: live more REAL life! Get out of your comfort zone! Get OFF your phone! REALLY be present for all of life’s moments, and make time for those who truly matter because you just never know….

Not to sound morbid on that ending there, but first pod back, y’all. I’m excited to share my voice more. I’m looking forward to taking action on things I’ve pictured for myself, and honestly, excited to just live with a little bit more intention.

    Hope you’ve been well! Cheers!

  • Episode 19: emotional dysregulation is scary

Episode 19: emotional dysregulation is scary!

How often do we just accept that life is just how it is? Wake up feeling the dread of that morning alarm clock, wanting to hit snooze, thinking about all the traffic (and gosh darn that morning commute), juggling what feels like a bajillion things in our head while trying to just keep it together so we can present ourselves to our work and our colleagues as our best selves? Then that performance and pressure trickles into the rest of our day where we just try to numb ourselves by disassociating, having an extra glass of wine, playing video games all day, or whatever version of brain rot fancies you.

The details may be different but the underlying truth of not dealing with stress and not learning how to properly regulate our emotions is slowly killing us. It’s robbing us of living a fuller life, of appreciating what we have, of seeing how we can change and really making that change. It’s affecting our relationships, our mood, the whole reality of how we’re living in the world…..crazy, right?

So how do we change it? Help offered in this episode :)

  • Episode 18: I HAVE TO enjoy the work I do....

    Episode 18: I HAVE TO enjoy the work I do...crazy, I know

Short episode today but I recently witnessed something pretty traumatic that just made me super appreciative of people who are not only good at their jobs, but ACTUALLY CARE. And yes, boy oh boy, what a difference it makes (I think!).

I hope this episode reminds you that if the majority of our life is spent working, may we do work that fulfills us, inspires us, and pushes us to be the best versions of ourselves, AND may we get to share the joy we feel through such work, or get to help others in a way that is truly priceless.

  • Episode 17: are we actually happy....

Episode 17: are we actually happy or are we just using people so that we're not lonely?

When it comes to relationships, or rather, break-ups, why does it always seem that one person moves on quickly while the other decides to work more on him or herself? Inspired by a true random reach-out from an ex, I wonder how many more people would actually feel truly happy in a relationship if they actually took the time to internally self-reflect and grow as an individual rather than rushing into the next commitment that temporarily fills a void and oftentimes just repeats a broken relationship pattern.

Oh yeah, going there! More reflections and food for thought inside :)

PS Pardon once again, but the voice is going because the sickness is still sticking. Boo!

  • Episode 16: your youth is showing

Episode 16: your youth is showing

Pardon first off because this is a very sort of all over the place podcast, and I am sick so the voice is lacking BUT have you ever caught up with a friend and realized that how they turned out as an adult was so heavily influenced by how he or she was treated as a kid? The way we all turn out in this crazy world is of course impacted by how we grew up, our environment, family dynamics, and social circle, but I find it really interesting how many of us are aware or actually unaware of the patterns we are repeating.

If you skew towards the younger audience (in your 20s), may this serve as a little reminder to really start building yourself as you truly want to be, and if you are closer to my age (in your 30s/40s), may we have peace in our lives living authentically.

It will make more sense in the episode (I hope). Thanks for listening :)
