Milly Alcock Says Krypto Is Movie Magic

At the Warner Bros. CinemaCon presentation, Supergirl star Milly Alcock broke some disappointing news to dog lovers: Kara's best pup pal, Krypto, is mostly "movie magic" (CGI) rather than a real dog. Alcock explained that a random Romanian street dog was brought to the set to do some stand-in work for Krypto for one day, but the pup was hilariously uncooperative and didn't want to follow the rules. As a result, the super dog had to be brought to life using special effects, though Alcock emphasized they still have very real love for the character.
