John Clauson is an adoptee that was told his parents had died in a car accident and that was the reason he was put up for adoption. Because of this information he never even gave it a thought to search. He found out in his mid fifties that the story he had been told and had believed for over 5 decades was not true.
John could have become bitter by this new information, but instead he chose to become better. Find out how this adoptee has dealt with his adoption trauma along with some things that he has found to help him cope along the way.

We left Part 1 with Cathryn getting into the taxi from the hospital where she had just given birth to her daughter days before. As she got into the taxi she was unexpectedly handed her baby, the baby she was never supposed to see.

Author of 'I Need To Tell You', Cathryn Vogeley talks about what it was like to relinquish her daughter.

This book has literally changed my heart and given me so much compassion for the birth mothers that felt they had no one to turn to to help them keep their babies. So many birth mothers and adoptees that were separated during what is called the baby scoop era that started just after WWII and ended about 1972.

This book is a MUST READ for adoptees as well as anyone that is or knows someone that has relinquished a child.

What happens when you are a foster parent or adoptive parent and things just aren't working out like you had hoped?
Angie Grandt was a married woman with a daughter when she decided to open her home to foster children. Then one day she was given the opportunity to adopt a young boy from a birth mother who was struggling mentally.

What happens when a child already knows and remembers their biological mother? How does that affect the bonding process? At first, everything seemed seamless, then the cracks started to show.
