In this bilingual (English and Mandarin) meditation, we visualize our emotions as guests looking to visit our house. You will observe your feelings, respect them, and perhaps receive the messages they want to share. Meanwhile, remember that YOU are the owner of your emotional house.
Emotions exist for a reason. Without it, we won’t have literature, music, or movies. We won't feel the joy of success, sadness that helps us build empathy, or anger that moves us into action. They are critical aspects of this human experience. We don’t want to be ruled by emotions, but we also don't want to about ignore or suppress them.
