Nick Manely, a true champion shares his story of how he has overcome challenges of FND, Epilepsy, and other medical challenges. He is a true inspiration to many in all walks of life. He still continues to ski everyday and provide valuable knowledge of the slopes to everyone. His road to the Olympics was cut short for himself, but to this day he is still pushing with the paralympics, to hopefully one day be a coach of a paralympic team potentially in Beijing 2022. The relationships he has built with many is a true testament of his Journey.

Devin, shares his story of overcoming a medical condition (epilepsy), followed with depression, anxiety, and stress. All of us have challenges in life whether they be medical, physical, or mental. Devin is a true inspiration who has overcome this and is now giving back to those that are directly connected with this spectrum. By giving back to this community he feels his heart is now full and has a purpose once again. He also shares his journey into blending two families in his new relationship.

PANDA Bob Mortenson, is a true hero in our eyes. This guy has been a hero over and over again to Pediatric families across the state. Bob and his team have been a huge part of our daughter's life over the past three years in critical transport for her. Bob's team of pediatric angels have transported Aria numerous times via PANDA (Pediatric and Neonatal Doernbecher Ambulance). These folks travel all over the state and transport Pediatric Patients to Doernbecher Children's Hospital at Oregon Health Sciences University in Portland, Oregon. Bob's passion for pediatrics is unmatched and we thank him and his team for everything they have done. This team travels via Ambulance, Air, and Helicopter to pick up the most critical patients and they never waiver they are heroes!

Free Geek is a 501(c)(3) organization with a mission to sustainably reuse technology, enable digital access, and provide education to create a community that empowers people to realize their potential.

Computers help us in many ways, but the move toward a digital future isn’t without its share of hurdles. Many individuals lack the resources necessary to purchase a computer or get the training required to use digital technology. At the same time, the rapid pace of technology consumption and turnover means that over 2 million tons of hazardous e-waste is created each year in the United States. Free Geek’s goal is to divert technology that would otherwise be recycled or thrown away, refurbish it, and give it back to our community at no or low cost.
