Carter has overseen the improvement and standardization of financial underwriting for the company. A graduate of the University of Denver, she has multiple years of experience in the commercial real estate industry with over $3.5B in commercial office transactions.

Shelby graduated from the University of South Carolina in 2012, served in the Army for 6 years and got out as a Captain in the beginning of 2018 to dive into Real Estate full time as both a broker & investor in Fayetteville, NC.

Following her first year as a broker, Shelby was recognized as the Keller Williams Rookie of the Year for the “Carolinas Region” (all of North & South Carolina) closing 48 transactions as a solo agent.  From there, she founded Five Pillars Team at eXp Realty, a nationwide community comprised of agents driven to turn their active income from closings into passive income investment properties & build futures of financial freedom.  She also founded “Pints & Properties,” a nationwide Real Estate Investors meetup, which continues to grow rapidly. 

 

Meanwhile, Shelby was relentless in growing her own rental property portfolio.  Since purchasing her first intentional rental property in November 2017, she now owns 74 rentals, acquired using several different strategies and comprised of a little bit of everything:  single-families, residential multi-family, commercial multi-family and short-term rentals… plus a bit of airbnb arbitrage.

I can relate to all these feelings and frustrations of losing out on so many deals. When I started out investing in Real Estate, I did it ALL THE WRONG WAY! Like so many other Real Estate Investors, I was taken to the slaughter house. I went to my local banker and was able to do a few deals…but you know what happened: I had to come up with Big Down Payments, pay origination fees, and most importantly…play by their rules. (Including signing personal guarantees on everything I owned.) I hated it. I felt owned by the bank, out of control, and stressed out.  

Within a few, short months…I had $2,150,000 in Private Money!!! And that was just a couple of years ago…and it has ROCKED MY REAL ESTATE INVESTING CAREER! (My banker actually did me a HUGE FAVOR…I just didn’t know it at the time because that set-back forced me to create the system that would bring me lots of money Fast and Easy without relying on bankers or my credit.) The Massive Profits (7 Figures Per Year) I’ve been blessed to enjoy by creating and putting into action my “Where To Get The Money Now” System has without a doubt been my Biggest Quantum Leap since becoming a Real Estate Investor. And I live in a city with only 40,000 people.

Bruce began working in real estate in 2001 with tax lien foreclosures. It was during this time he learned how to research public records, to understand how title works and the legal side of real estate. He soon realized the huge opportunity in pursuing vacant homes that were not in tax lien foreclosure. By the summer of the 2002 he had picked up 3 investment homes, a duplex & a triplex. In the first year and a half he was introduced to private financing, deal partnering, cash flow and forced equity. In October of 2002 Bruce partnered with Jack Martin to form Bakerson, LLC. Bruce's knowledge for title work coupled with his ability and experience in research as well as his passion for the legal side of real estate makes each transaction that much more secure. Efficient systems within the organization are key to profitability and expansion. Bruce has a unique ability to build new systems as well as streamline existing ones. Prior to real estate Bruce was an executive recruiter for four years; two years in Minneapolis and two years in Chicago. During these four years he was the top recruiter for the company. He quickly learned what it meant to keep a full pipeline of activity. The training and experience he learned in human relations as a recruiter is invaluable. Bruce grew up in family bakery business in Minnesota. He started working with his father part-time in 1980. Over the next 16 years he was able to work in all areas of the business from baking to cake decorating to sales to deliveries. Each one of these departments gave Bruce a unique perspective to life and business: efficiency is key and life is all about the relationships we build.

Mariusz Skonieczny is a professionalinvestor and the founder of Classic Value Investors, MicroCap Explosions and creator of Value Investing University.

Mariusz graduated from Indiana University in 2003 with a finance degree. From 2003 to 2008, he was in the residential and commercial real estate industry as an appraiser and broker. During the 2008/2009 financial crisis, he made the courageous decision to leave the industry and start Classic Value Investors. He has been investing in the stock market since 2008, starting with only $10,000, 10 years later he reached $1.1 million.
