Today we move away from our "Not-Quite-Heroes" at ACE to instead peer into the happenings elsewhere in the vast continent of Divitotum.

In this dramatized short story, we take a look at a priest from the Church of Ghriom waking up in a cold prison cell. Unable to identify his captors, he tries to commune with the divine only to be interrupted by a mysterious woman who could be his guardian angel, or something far more sinister.

"The Priest of Ghriom" is narrated by Nick Tavanese with editing by Anna Williams.

In our nineteenth session, Sartheleon grapples with the discovery of his mentor Raven's corpse being tampered with by his comrade, Cecily Belghriom.

As he makes a mad dash to heal her, it becomes clear some mysterious arcane power is affecting her body.

Uniting the party for the first time following the explosion at Family Day, Sartheleon opens up about just how deadly Gwen truly is, and the party learn of how terrified the people of Elona are of Necromancy, but not why it's outlawed across Divitotum.

Plus, Pogo drops off a special gift for Sartheleon, and Emilia and Frederic gave a heart to heart about the nature of loss and mortality that leads to Emilia learning of a mysterious man that used to be her mother's apprentice, and what happened to Frederic's lover, Violetta.

In our eighteenth session, the party recovers from the Family Day incident by picking up the pieces of their friendships and the auditorium. 

Cecily jumps into protective older sister mode and tends to her younger siblings following the explosion; Sartheleon starts to realize that Raven may have been telling the truth the whole time and begins to realize Gwen has much bigger plans for him than he realized; Pogo says goodbye to Nualla as she heads back to Glagus to care for their ailing mother; and Emilia is tasked with taking the gauntlets, any means necessary, or run the risk of having another "Violetta situation", all while questioning if she's always been the way she is.

As the dust of the day begins to settle, Emilia invites Sartheleon to the elite Elonian club "The Light Under", Cecily plans a heist, and Sartheleon discovers something that will change him forever.

In our 17th session, the History Exhibition kicks off to celebrate Family Day. To nobody's surprise, Cecily's twin brothers interrupt the ceremonies with a special game show with the best of intentions. Meanwhile, Emilia begins to hear the voices of a bygone era call out to her; Sartheleon is ordered to do something that puts everyone in danger, and Pogo tries to figure out what he would do if Cecily turned into a worm. 

Could this event spell a permanent divide for our not-quite-heroes?

In session 16, Pogo and Cecily head back to campus after fending off the monster plant in the mall and catch up with Emilia and Sartheleon in just in time to attend the History department's assembly. After getting the opportunity to see some of these legendary artifacts in person, something strange happens as Emilia's body and mind begins to connect with a mysterious pair of gauntlets on display. On the eve of the long-awaited Family Day, Pogo surprises his party members with special gifts catered to their personalities. 

As the festivities officially kick off, the party is finally reunited with their family members for the first time since leaving to attend ACE. Emilia's mother and father, the duchess and duke of House Victosolis, arrive with a cold grace fitting of their noble household; Nualla Stardust, child prodigy and younger sister to Pogo finally returns to provide her older brother with the comforts of home; Cecily's adoptive father and younger brothers arrive to cause mischief around campus; and Sartheleon's two mother figures show up with their pre-prepared, secret identities.

Welcome to session 15 of the Minds Never Matter Podcast!

In the aftermath of the party's first ever house party, ACE's Family Day looms over our not-quite heroes as they prepare for the festivities. Cecily and Pogo, the glue that they are, invite the party (and their many friends) to their local-corporate-coffee chain for breakfast to catch up on everything that's happened since they made it back to Elona.

Emilia and Frederic are once again on the outs as she once again fails to recognize boundaries and pushes too hard for answers from her estranged fiancé's sudden shift in attitude; Sartheleon grapples with his orders to assassinate Emilia; Cecily and Kiran may or may not have just become canon; and Pogo indulges in one of life's simplest pleasures: hot chocolate.

Plus, we learn that the college will be showcasing a series of ancient, magic artifacts before Family Day.

The drinks are flowing and the beats are bumping... but something angsty is brewing at our heroes' first ever house party

In our 14th session, the party continue to try and fit in at one of ACE's first parties of the year with mixed success after being kicked out when they initially tried to get in with the cool kids.

Cecily tries to make amends with the jock who kicked them out, Pogo studies up on a step-by-step guide on cheering up crying girls, and Emilia and Sartheleon are, once again, exchanging glances and sharing dances that imply the two are headed for a not-quite-friends but not-quite-romantic relationship.

Plus, we finally get some more information on Frederic's mysterious lost lover Violetta, and how many toes the captain of the cheer squad actually has.

It's party time! 

In our 13th session, the party are poking around the mall in a somewhat impromptu shopping episode! After messing around in the mall's armory (and Emilia losing her infinite money strategy) the party run into ACE'S cheerleading squad, who are making last minute preparations for the house party. 

While Cecily, Sartheleon, and Pogo aren't formally invited to Cindy's exclusive event, they're determined to find a way in -- even if it means accidentally humiliating their party member in the process.

In our 12th session, Emilia and Cecily have an impromptu training session to spar, which causes Emilia to learn brand-new things about herself with ancient, ominous implications relating to her family history, and has Cecily questioning the well-being of those around her.
