In our 12th session, Emilia and Cecily have an impromptu training session to spar, which causes Emilia to learn brand-new things about herself with ancient, ominous implications relating to her family history, and has Cecily questioning the well-being of those around her. Later, the party officially reconvene after everything that's happened to them and decide to embark on one of the biggest adventures a young person can: going to the mall.

After the life-or-death battle against Mayor Merrian – who secretly worshiped the Old God Niaute – and his wood-golems-turned-villagers, Emilia heals Cecily after going down in battle, Sartheleon interrogates Jack to see if he knew the dark secrets lurking below the surface of the town, and Pogo finds a container filled with an endless amount of mayonnaise. In their search, our eccentric troupe confirms that Cook is, in fact, still missing. 

After returning to Elona to lick their wounds, Cecily goes to find the College’s onsite nurse to try and become stronger, Emilia visits a local blacksmith to get something for Sartheleon, Pogo does his best to make sure that everyone is safe, and Sartheleon tells his mysterious friend his “true” feelings toward the party.

In our ninth session, our Not-Quite-Heroes finally make it to dinner at Mayor Marion's manor along with the rest of the townsfolk in Etta. Sartheleon and Emilia sneak off to attempt a stealthy rendezvous, resulting in a major misunderstanding regarding the status of the relationship (and Emilia’s marriage). Attempting to salvage the night, Cecily tries to pull everyone into a game of “Zone of Truth or Dare”, but things take a dark twist after a series of questions about the villagers involvement with Cook’s disappearance takes a violent turn.

After rescuing Sartheleon, the party finally commit to trying to figure why the townspeople in Etta are so weird, but our humble "heroes" might be the only real crazy people in the village. Going from store to store, the party start opening up about themselves thanks to the townspeople's weird interest in icebreaker questions that get a little too personal. The party may not have any leads on Cook's whereabouts, but they are uncovering a juicy love triangle brewing within the village.

Our Not-Quite-Heroes are finally back after taking a brief hiatus (being an adult is hard). After a wild night at the local tavern, the party realizes that the quaint, carb-heavy village of Etta veers into... uncanny territory. Cecily gets invited to a town lunch while meditating nude at sunrise, Emilia shows her true colors after convincing a man to destroy his own property, Sartheleon gets a large sum of money in a totally legal way, and Pogo learns how to be an upstanding member of nobility. Things take a turn for the worse when poking around the village for information turns into a race against the clock when everyone's favorite Soulknife gets himself trapped in a meat freezer.

After being rescued by a fiery new friend, the party set out into the heavily wooded region of Laxor to try and find out more information regarding their mysterious attacker. Cecily gets a clue as to what these mysterious adversaries wanted from her, Emilia's troubles with social cues despite her status as nobility become glaringly obvious, and we find out which members of the party can hold their drink. In our fifth sesion, the party decide to travel by train to Laxor to investigate the secret message (ransom note?) left behind at the scene of Cook's kidnapping after the party ran to Emilia's dorm room to hide from the authorities to complete their somewhat successful heist.

While hiding out in her dorm, they realize Frederic has become way less of a jerk than he was before after seemingly swearing an oath of his own. Whether the kidnappers, or Pogo, are more of a threat to society, however, has yet to be seen.

In our fourth session, Cecily is nervous about her first date with Cook and drags the party to the off-campus coffee shop Moondollars to get questionable dating advice from everyone. A threat emerges when police sirens interrupt what should have been an easygoing day, and the party find out that one of the students has been kidnapped. The party pull their own version of a heist to try and find out more, but may have just made the rumors surrounding their bad behavior worse than they could have ever imagined after––allegedly––punching law enforcement.
