August 02, 2024Growing the Life of Your DreamsAre you making your life an abundant garden of the dreams you’ve always had? Is your life growing into the kind of life that’s surrounded by beauty, fulfillment, love, ambition, and the kind of adventure you’ve always wanted? Or is it full of misery, regret, negativity, and missed opportunities? In other words, is your life a garden of beautiful flowers, or dark twisted weeds? We have a choice in the garden we grow with our lives. And it starts with choosing what kind of garden we want and planting the right seeds. Once planted, these seeds need consistent care and tending to, and above all patience. But the investment we can make and the sacrifices necessary to create the lives we want are worth it to make our lives everything it possibly can be. July 24, 2024Healing the Old “You”So many of us go through traumatic experiences as children and then we build up layers of protection that are intended to protect us from the outer world. We put up facades of who we think we need to be or who we feel like will be the persona that will keep us most protected. This is a subconscious reaction that is built in early childhood, and works at first to protect us. But in adult life that protection also prevents us from experiencing life to its fullest capacity, feeling deep emotions, and building deeper connections with other people. What once saved us eventually stunts us. We try and use tools which worked then to bring back feelings of familiarity expecting it to work now, but in order to move forward in our lives and stop letting the callouses of our past keep us from healing, we need to do what it takes to peel back those layers of protection, and help heal the broken child within. July 16, 2024Building Depth in Your RelationshipsThe quality of your life is equal to the quality of your relationships. And the quality of your relationships is determined by the depth that you build them to. We all want deeper relationships, but few of us know how. Many of us are scared of the vulnerability required to bring more depth to the people we are closest to in our lives. Many of us were never taught the skills needed to build deep lasting relationships. If you love these topics and would like to suggest some ideas for a future episode, click here! July 09, 2024Are You Becoming the Monster You Fear?History doesn’t repeat itself but it does rhyme. Many times the pain we’ve been put through and the mistreatment we’ve experienced can follow us throughout our whole lives. It can give us such a sense of what reality feels like, that we latch onto it and find ways to bring it into our lives regardless of the damage it does to us or others. Eventually we may even start to realize that the patterns we were hurt by are now patterns we’re repeating, but many times we’ll rationalize it or justify it. So are we doomed to become someone we don’t want to be? How can we stop these patterns so that we don’t inflict the same pain on others that was inflicted on us?If you love these topics and would like to suggest some ideas for a future episode, click here! June 21, 2024How to Never Stop ImprovingProgress. With it, we find meaning in our lives, fulfillment in the things we’re working towards, and growth in ourselves. Without it, our future looks bleak, our lives feel purposeless, and justifying to ourselves why we’re here on this planet becomes a struggle. If we’re not moving forward in some way, we feel stuck. If we’re doing the same things everyday, going to the same places, and having the same experiences, our life becomes predictable, and can eventually cause us to ask ourselves “is this all there is?” We all have those moments. But how would we feel about our lives if we saw ourselves moving towards and getting closer to a valuable goal or a life that we would love to live? It would make the daily grind worth it because we see ourselves progressing. So then how can we live our lives in a way that ensures we never stop progressing, we never stop growing, and we use the time we’re given on this planet to become everything we possibly can? June 16, 2024Who's In Control of You?Emotions drive us, don’t they? That’s what we’re told at least. We’ve all experienced intense emotions that cause us to act in ways we regret, or lead us down pathways that hurt us in the end. Emotions are a necessary part of life, but so many people base who they are and what they do off of the emotions they have from moment to moment. And how can we structure our lives toward success in any given area if we let our inconsistent emotions drive our lives? The answer is simple. We can’t. We need to have power over our emotions, and without dismissing them or bottling them up, we need to make decisions and take actions that are driven by something higher than our feelings. June 07, 2024Where Will Your Ambition Take You?“Ambition is at the very core of success and extraordinary achievement. Unlike greed, it's a powerful, creative and constructive force.”Jim Rohn What is ambition? Where does it come from? Is it really that important? How do we harness it to change our lives for the better while also avoiding the pitfalls of the wrong kind of ambitions? Many people live lives unambitous lives, never even considering how far they could take their potential if they really tried. We are surrounded by so much comfort that we use all of our energy to ask ourselves “how can I make my life easier with more pleasure now?” Instead of asking ourselves “how can I make my life everything that it could possibly be?” But we also must face the reality of how ambition can take a dark turn and lead us to take advantage of people, manipulate them, and break them down in order to achieve a selfish and narrow goal that only benefits our self interest. May 28, 2024How to Become Magnetic to Everyone You MeetMost of the relationships we have are the way they are because of the perception we have of the person or people we’re dealing with. If our perceptions affect how we operate in the relationship, then that inevitably will affect the dynamic of the relationship itself. So how can we improve our relationships with one simple rule? How can we become the person who everyone always wants to talk to? Is there really one thing that cannot only make you more magnetic to other people, but also at the same time more comfortable and less anxious in social interactions at the same time? I believe there is and that special key is to treat everyone like they are a 10.If you love these topics and would like to suggest some ideas for a future episode, click here!
