Widely known for his character acting in various roles over the last few years, Zach Avery is taking his career to the next level with multiple movies set for release in 2019. After years of bit parts in films, his upcoming breakout performance opposite "Mr. Robot” star Carly Chaikin, in the psychological thriller, LAST MOMENT OF CLARITY,  set to to be released in early 2019, should potentially land him on the list of talents to watch in the next few years. Also planned for release in early 2019, Zach will be seen in THE WHITE CROW, the story of legendary ballet dancer Rudolph Nuryev, directed by Ralph Fiennes, which was previewed at the Telluride Film Festival in late 2018, and picked up by Sony Pictures for distribution. 

A Midwesterner at heart, Zach spent his teens playing football and dabbling in high school theatre, ultimately playing for Indiana University until an injury ended his NFL dreams. While the arts continued to be a hidden passion, upon graduating he entered the Doctoral program at the Chicago School of Professional Psychology. While there, he was also attending underground comedy shows and joined local theaters groups, which ultimately let to the decision to shift gears and take a leave of absence from his schooling to pursue acting full time. To fund his goal of moving to LA, he began selling Quickbooks software door to door in the Chicago suburbs and finally made the move west on New Years Eve 2011.

Acting classes helped him get acclimated to LA and meet upcoming directors that lead to work on shorts and indie films, but he also found that cultivating relationships have been the most effective way to get roles, finally landing CURVATURE in 2017 via his friendship with Producer Andrew Levitas. That collaboration led to a co-starring role opposite Kate Beckinsdale and Adewale Akinnouye-Agbaje in FARMING, which premiered at the 2018 Toronto International Film Festival and subsequently landed him his role on THE WHITE CROW. 

His greatest role to date has been that of husband and father to his toddler son. An outdoorsman at heart, Zach spends his downtime enjoying his newly adopted hometown of LA with Laker games, hiking, skiing, practicing his scuba diving skills and enjoying nature with his growing family.

On the big screen, Pifko will be disrupting audiences playing the title role in the acclaimed drama DADDY ISSUES premiering April 19th in cities across North America (will also be available on iTunes). The film centers around Maya (Madison Lawlor), a queer pixie artist who meets and falls madly in love with her insta-crush, Jasmine. It's all gumdrops and fairytales until Maya discovers Jasmine's passionate relationship with a secret sugar daddy Simon Craw (Andrew Pifko). For his role, Andrew was nominated for “Best Lead Actor” at the Nice, France International Film Festival and won in the same category at the NoVa Film Festival in Virginia. DADDY ISSUES Trailer

On the small screen, Pifko will have a recurring role in as a swashbuckling Robin Hood-esque bandit in BYUtv’s ‘Dwight In Shining Armor’ airing Monday nights and will be heard as a series regular, voicing multiple characters, on Netflix’s ‘Carmen Sandiego’ alongside Jane the Virgin’s Gina Rodriguez.  He also recently wrapped ‘Greek Gods’, with comedy icon Mel Brooks, taking an acerbically comic look at the immigration debate.
