Today I am speaking with Chubangu Mnonergwa. Chubangu was born in Kenya in an entrepreneurial family. His dad owned a local restaurant and two stores, so business was part of his life. Chugangu and his family moved to America, first landing in New York and then making their way across the country before settling in Boise, Idaho which is also my home. In 2012, his family started selling African food at the local farmers market, and during the COVID-19 pandemic where many small businesses suffered, Chubangu saw this as an opportunity to open his business, Aminas African Sambusas. Let’s listen to his story.
