Welcome to the first episode of the Minority Entrepreneur Podcast, a show dedicated to telling the stories of minority business owners and the amazing work they do. This is your host Rene and I am excited you are here.
Every business owner has a unique story that is sure to inspire those looking to take the leap into entrepreneurship. For the first episode of this podcast, I figured I would tell my story.
As an immigrant from Mexico, it was extremely hard to be the different kid in a new country. Unable to communicate with others and being made fun off because I did not speak the language, my only way to cope with this new country was to hang out with the bad kids who understood me... or so I though. I started getting into trouble and fights at school.
In high school, I played a variety of sports and the discipline I gained shaped me into the person I am today. I received my engineering degree in 2012, started my first business in 2014, created an after school enrichment program to teach children about STEM in 2017, and founded Biznesito™ in 2020, and created the LatinX Entrepreneurship Academy™ in 2021.
