    https://3speak.tv/watch?v=minuetoacademy/tcupdmaw
¡Hola amigos y amigas! ¡Pues entonces acompáñenme a descubrir mi composición "Preludio"!
    > Hello friends and friends! Today I want to share with you a musical journey through time and styles. Ready to let yourself be carried away by the wonderful sounds of baroque and romanticism? Well then, come with me to discover my composition "Prelude"!
    #
    #
    > Here I am, sitting in front of my beloved keyboard and close to my good partner, the alto recorder, ready to begin this musical adventure. But before we get into the notes, let me tell you a little about the fascinating world of the Baroque.
    #
    > The musical baroque flourished in Europe during the 17th and 18th centuries, and it was a time of great stylistic changes in music. It was characterized by its exuberance, ornamentation and grandeur. And what better way to immerse ourselves in this era than through the instruments that by then experienced their greatest boom: the alto recorder and the harpsichord.
    > The alto recorder, also known as the alto recorder, is a wind instrument that dates back to antiquity, but which reached its peak in the Baroque. Its sweet and melodious sound transports us directly to the court of a king or to a hall full of music and joy.
    > On the other hand, the harpsichord is a keyboard instrument that is very similar to the piano, but differs from it in several aspects: instead of hammers hitting the strings, bird feather spikes are used and it is because of this mechanism that, unlike the piano, the harpsichord cannot reproduce dynamics, the sound it emits is always projected with the same intensity. Its metallic sound is distinctive; It generates a special sensation when playing it, and it is without a doubt one of my favorite instruments.
    > But going back to my composition "Prelude", I want to tell you a little more about it. It is written in the key of G major, which gives it a bright and radiant air. The melodic motif that is repeated throughout the piece is so catchy that it will resonate inside you.
    > “Prelude” not only has elements of the baroque, it also has elements of romanticism. How so? We will see in this work hints of romanticism in harmony and in the fluctuating interpretation of small rubatos.
    > As for the accompaniment, I used a compositional resource called diminution. What does that mean? Basically, it involves taking a melody or harmonic progression and slowing it down, playing the notes faster. This creates an ornate effect and adds a touch of elegance to the piece.
    > As "prelude" progresses the decay will be evident in the harmonic progressions; towards the end of the work, the contraction will be more noticeable, thus creating a perfect closing effect.
    > So I invite you to close your eyes, open your ears and let yourself be carried away by the sounds of the past. Let's travel together through time and discover the beauty of baroque music and romanticism in "Prelude". May the melody surround us and make us dream of past times full of sweetness and charm!

  • Hive Open Mic Week 161 | | Nostalgias del Alma (Original Song)
    https://3speak.tv/watch?v=minuetoacademy/dgftejcl
Hello friends! I am very happy to be able to share another week with you. Today I am performing, inspired by this week's theme 161 "My Original Song", an original composition for solo piano entitled "Nostalgias del Alma".
    > ¡Hola amigos!
This work is full of nostalgic moments and at the same time with a hopeful force, with this I try to evoke the contrasts of life. Life, with its comings and goings, takes us through an endless number of emotions and moods, over time, and in the best of cases, we learn to behave better on the emotional level, we learn not to let ourselves be carried away. by the wind of passions, then, as by a mere act of survival, we also learn to have hope when despair hits us, to prefer love over hate, to forgive rather than embrace resentment, we learn that the better option is joy than sadness. In short, if we learn well, we will always look for the positive, the good, the beautiful... if we learn life's lessons well, we will always know, from inner freedom, to be well, serene and balanced in any circumstance.
"Nostalgias del Alma" is composed in the key of C major and recursively modulates to the relative minor key (Am). Between these two sister tones I draw that contrast between the nostalgia for a good past and the hope of a better future than the present.

  • Hive Open Mic Week 160 | | Mèlodia Antique Française - Tchaikovsky, Op. 39, No. 9
    https://3speak.tv/watch?v=minuetoacademy/urpxffts
Hello friends! I am very happy to be here with you. The song that I play today "Mèlodie Antique Française" is a work belonging to [Opus](https://musicaenmexico.com.mx/musicomania/que-quiere-decir-opus/) 39 by the Russian composer Piotr Ilich Tchaikovsky or Tchaikovsky (1840-1893).
    > ¡Hola amigos!
The theme of this 160th edition of the Open Mic, “Fraternity”, invited me to set my eyes on the sweet melody that I am playing for you today, its title and its melancholy made me think of the old French motto «Liberty, Equality, Fraternity» . The French Revolution (where the motto comes from) was a beacon that radiated light to many libertarian movements in Latin America, especially, it influenced the thought of great Venezuelans such as Francisco de Miranda and Simón Bolívar, among other illustrious heroes.
But, going back to the old French motto, does that ideal of freedom, equality and fraternity reign in our current societies? Sure things have improved since the French Revolution but there is still much to do.
Why choose a piece in a minor key to represent brotherhood? Fraternity leads us to be supportive, empathetic and respectful of other people. Unfortunately, fraternity is a value that languishes in our time, the desire for success, the competitive and highly individualistic nature of our societies, war... makes fraternity one of the great pending subjects. The irony of all this is that she would make our human experience truly human, that is, full of love, peace and happiness. How beautiful will be that longed-for world where all human beings love each other as brothers, then brotherhood will never again be evoked with a lesser tone.
      What do you think?
We read in the comments. Peace and Fraternity!
    > Qué opinas tu?

  • Hive Open Mic Week 159 | | Waltz in D Minor - Brahms, Op. 39, No. 9
    https://3speak.tv/watch?v=minuetoacademy/oiavtmtt
Hello! I'm glad to be posting in this space again. This week's theme *"A Good Friend"*, made me think of those friends who are no longer here and are missed. Anyone who has experienced the loss of a good friend, either due to his physical disappearance or because he migrated to another country, knows that the feeling of loss or the void that he leaves behind can be overwhelming.
    > Hola!
The work I am performing today, Waltz in D minor Op. 39. No. 9, belongs to the German composer, [Johannes Brahms](https://www.buscabiografias.com/biografia/verDetalle/2976/Johannes%20Brahms) (1833 - 1897). I chose to play this waltz because in my opinion it can convey a feeling of loss and melancholy such as the one that the final departure or the separation of a good friend arouses in me.
But what does this waltz by the most bearded composer of all make you feel?
We read in the comments. Peace!

  • A Sad Motive (Cover Song) || Miscellaneus
    https://3speak.tv/watch?v=minuetoacademy/rfbvxzyc
    #
On December 28 of last year, my family arrived from my beloved Barquisimeto to spend the end of the year. I hurriedly began to move several mattresses to condition the room where they were going to sleep. As I was going down the stairs I lost my balance and to prevent the mattress I was carrying from falling, I made a reflex movement and immediately felt a strong pull in the lower part of my back...
This April 28th I am four months old dealing with what I describe as the strongest pain I have ever experienced for so long, my sciatic nerve became inflamed and everything changed... Doctor, RX, B complex, analgesics, therapy, pain, prayer, pain, heat and cold, fulfilling my duties, not being able to stop, pain, impotence, difficult moments...
Health is a treasure that is not appreciated enough until it is lost... Things have been getting better but I still can't spend much time standing or lying down because discomfort and numbness start... One of the things that most What affected my mood was not being able to sit down and play the piano for a long time as I used to... fortunately it bothers me less and less but I would be lying if I say that I didn't feel sad in all these months...
I hope to be able to resume my publications as normal as well as the rest of my activities in the coming weeks. In this Miscellaneus I wanted to share with you my interpretation of the piece "A Sad Motive" by the South Korean pianist and composer Lee Ru-ma, better known as Yiruma. This work describes quite well some of the feelings that I experienced these last months. No downpour lasts forever...
Well... So far what I wanted to tell you. Thanks for stopping by here. Bye!

    #### SPANISH VERSION
    #
