This week Tommy talks a small amount of a novel “The life and death of Superman”. Justin talks a bit about Justice League rebirth vol 4. A Harley Quinn TV show is announced for the DC streaming service, already ordered 26 episodes. SPOILER ALERT!! We discuss at excruciating length what we liked, disliked, and overall creamed over from the Justice League movie.

This week on The Minutemen we’re joined by Darren and Tommy. Justin reviews the Rebirth Deathstroke vol 3, and Injustice 2 vol 1. We give our spoiler review of Thor: Ragnarok. We talk about new casts in upcoming Shazam! movie. Pat talks a bit about the CW Dc shows. Our Character Spotlight of the week is Booster Gold. Lastly our Battle of the Gods: Cheetah vs Medusa, it was a tie 2-2, but ultimately Tommy has decided Medusa would win.

This week on the Minutemen we’re joined by Tommy Riggs, he talks a bit about a new comic he picked up Dark Knights Metal: Nightwing. Justin talks about his assortment of new comics, starting with Red Hood and the Outlaws vol2, Detective Comics vol3, Supersons vol1, and Batman/The Flash presents: The Button. Pat does a run through of all the first few episodes of the CW DC shows. Titans finally casted a Beast Boy, its Big Hero 6’s Ryan Potter. Next we talk about a rumored Eiza Gonzalez casted as Catwoman. We discuss a bit about the amazing Black Panther trailer. The Punisher finally has a release date for November 17th. Our character spotlight for the week is Rac Shade: The Changing Man. Our Battle of the Gods this week is Punisher vs Batman. Batman wins 2-1 (obviously)

This week on The Minutemen we’re joined by Tommy and Darren. Pat goes over his Wonder Woman rebirth vol 3, and X-men Gold vol 1. Justin talks about Titans rebirth vol 2, and Injustice Ground Zero vol 2. Our first topic this week is The Weeknd teams up with Marvel to make a comic starring The Weeknd as The Starboy. Obviously the 3rd Justice League trailer came out Sunday and sprinkled more hype on our cereal bowl full of hype flakes. Teen Titans Go! has a movie coming out, slotted for July 2018. X-men Dark Phoenix is going to be a 2 parter. The Runaways trailer released last week and has a release date of November 21, 2017. Our Character Spotlight for the week is Mr Jason Todd aka Red Hood. Lastly our Battle of the Gods for the week is Spider-man (Miles Morales) vs Blue Beetle. This was a super close match up and ended up 2-2.

This week on The Minutemen, Justin and Pat fly solo, or duo, whatever and jump straight into comic reviews. Pat goes over his recent Rebirth Aquaman vol 3.  Justin reviews Rebirth Suicide Squad vol 3 and Green Lanterns vol 3. First topic we go into is some re-shoots of the Justice League left out all of Iris West’s scenes from the movie. As well as rumored to be 2 end credits scenes with a possibly Green Lantern hint in one. The upcoming Nightwing film is in the works, at least the script is and the director seems extremely passionate about this project. We talk a bit about the Hellboy reboot and a concrete release date. Our Character Spotlight for this week is The Punisher what with the trailer for his upcoming Netflix show just being released. Lastly we have a weird Battle of the Gods this week with a 3 way battle between Avatar state Aang, Dr. Fate, and Dr. Doom. Ultimately we both decided that Avatar state Aang is too op and would win no problem.

This week on The Minutemen we’re joined by Darren Wiltse and Tommy Riggs. Pat talks a bit about his X-Men Blue vol 1. Justin tries his best not to spoil Rebirth Green Lantern Corps vol 3. First topic we really talk about is the recent Titans castings with Nightwing, and Hawk and Dove, basically forging a new path and story with different members to add onto this teams rich history. We talk about our hopes and dreams of John Cena being Shazam. Our Character Spotlight this week is Jean Grey. Our Battle of the Gods this week is Bane vs Juggernaut. Ultimately we decide Bane is too smart and cunning that he wins 3-1.

We discuss the reboot of Hellboy, and give a Spoiler free review of The Defenders netflix show. Lastly we cap off the episode with a very heated Battle of the Gods with Superman vs Goku. Ultimately we decide Goku would win 3-0, but we’re talking DBZ Goku, not Super. Super would be no contest, DBZ Goku is at least equally matched with supes.

So this week on the Minutemen Patrick talks about his recent comic book purchases: Flash Rebirth vol. 3, Spider-Gwen vol. 3, Gotham Academy: Second Semester, and X-Men Gold. First topic we actually talk about this week is the recent casting of Teagan Croft as Raven in the DC streaming Titans show. A 13 year old Australian actress, which I suppose sets the tone and the age limit of the Titans with her. Next we talk about Josh Brolin’s amazing looking Cable, and Zazie Beetz looking good as Domino. Sad news from the Deadpool 2 set, as Zazie Beetz stunt double was killed in a motorcycle accident on set. Our thoughts and prayers go out to her family and cast members in this tough time. Our Character Spotlight this week is an underrated X-man, Mr. Colossus. Lastly we do something different this week instead of Battle of the Gods we play Superfight. Justin got Abe Sapien, Darren’s lucky butt got Batman, and Pat got Killer Frost. You’ll have to tune in to see who wins.

This week we have an overload of information from ComicCon. Obviously being the DC fanboys we are we’re all super hype for this Justice League trailer in all of its glory. Thor: Ragnarok also stole my heart and made me more excited than I was for Homecoming. The Defenders trailer was also pretty epic and had a nice little sneak preview of The Punisher. We give a bit of information from the leaked Infinity Wars trailer, not wanting to spoil too much for Darrenial. Pat goes into details about the CW DC show trailers. Lastly we cap off this loaded episode with a grueling Battle of the Gods with Wonder Woman vs Darth Vader. After a long and tough discussion Darth Vader takes the win 3-1.
