This week on the Minutemen, Justin and Patrick fly solo, first talking a bit about the Rebirth Detective Comics vol. 1. Pat tells us a bit about the Rebirth Green Lantern vol. 1. Pat tells us about some recent Wonder Woman reviews, and complaints. The actor playing Ares revealed as Lupin from Harry Potter. Matt Reeves confirmed as the director of The Batman just a week ago, then decides he wants to walk away. Oh and our hero Ben Affleck trying to be Ben Affleck and dip out on his roll as Batman. Lastly we have a weird Battle of the Gods where I create a scenario of Thanos, Darkseid, Apocalypse, Galactus, Trigon, and Braniac all team up to destroy the collective universes. Create a team of 15 heroes to stop them and save all of reality.

We’re joined by Darren this week, and he starts us out with a good spoiler free review of the Lego Batman movie, really enticed me into going to see it. Pat talks a bit and gives a review of the Justice League Rebirth vol. 1. Then we go into the Batman solo film discussion and the announcement of the new director. We then talk a bit about Warner Bros. in talks with Mel Gibson to direct Suicide Squad 2. Pat discusses a bit about recent links and unfolding’s in the CW DC shows. Darren mentions the recent Infinity War video, talking about how we want the Netflix heroes to appear in the film and help and all our prospects. Last we talk about a confirmed Supernova movie, starring Sophie Turner as Jean Grey. We cap out our episode with an intriguing Battle of the Gods with a sort of mirror match up with Deathstroke vs Deadpool. A well fought argument but Deadpool ends up winning 2-1.

So in today’s episode we are joined by Darren Wiltse and Tommy Riggs.  Tommy talks a little about the iVampire comic series. Justin and Tommy try their best to give a spoil free review of the  Justice League Dark animated movie. We talk a little about an upcoming CW Black Lightning show, and an upcoming villain to Supergirl. Then we play a little bit of trivia, and everyone finds out why I call Tommy the “Main Man”.  We round it off with our Battle of the Gods segment with Superman vs Apocalypse (I lied about DC only :3). It was a clean 4-0 for Superman. He’s got nothing on the man of steel.

This week we’re joined by CEO Darren Wiltse, we first discuss Ben Affleck stepping down as Director of the Batman film. Possibly thinking about stepping down as Batman all together (which I personally don’t believe). Pat talks about the newest confirmed villain in the upcoming Aquaman, as well as the rumored casting of Atlanna, Aquaman’s mother. We play another rousing game of Superfight, Patrick gets Deadshot, Justin has Hellboy, and Darren’s lucky butt gets Hawkman and ultimately wins the fight with almost no opposition. Lastly we round everything off with our Battle of the Gods: Green Arrow vs The Punisher. After a long discussion, we all agree Green Arrow takes it 3-0.

Today we’re joined by the long haired hippy man child himself, T. Sprouse. We talk about Rebirth volumes we’ve all read and gone through. We talk about Zac Snyder confirming Superman in Justice League (duh). Jerome on a new Gotham has a striking resemblance from the Death of the Family Joker with his face skinned off and stapled back on. Looks dope in my opinion. We discuss the CW shows a bit, and the differences between the DC and the Marvel set up of all their shows. Then we talk about the confirmed plot for the upcoming Wonder Woman movie. Lastly we cap it off with our Battle of the Gods segment with Colossus vs Cyborg. After Patrick put up a long and well hard fought battle for Colossus, Cyborg takes the win 2-1.

Tonight we’re joined by newcomer, and comic book guru Tommy Riggs. We discuss our latest comic book escapades. Then immediately go into discussion about the new Logan trailer.  Tommy and Justin geek out over the new Constantine online premier. Pat goes into the new announcements from Injustice 2. We talk about the rumors of a 2 part Shazam movie, and a Black Adam centered part 2. Lastly we cap it off with our Battle of the Gods: Trigon vs Braniac. After a rough discussion its a 3-0 sweep for Trigon.

On today’s episode we’re joined by Justin Wiltse, this being the first episode of the new year, we talk about all the same stuff as usual. We talk about why Ryan Reynolds won’t make a cameo in Logan. Dr. Strange having a role in Thor: Ragnarok. We play a game I stole from the Big Bang Theory, where we rank the people who have played Batman from best to worst. We all agreed immediately Kevin Conroy is the best and deserves our love and admiration, and we’re also all in agreement never to mention the horrible decisions of Val Kilmer and Michael Keaton. We round off with our favorite segment: Battle of the Gods. This week is Black Adam vs Lobo. We all agree  Lobo is a huge threat, but ultimately give this one to Black Adam in a quick 3-0.

Today on the final episode of the year we are joined by the living meme himself: Darren Wiltse. We first talk about the prospects of upcoming (Mostly DC) 2017 comics, and Dr. Manhattan Rebirth theories. Then talk a bit about an upcoming Legends of Tomorrow episode basically revolving around George Lucas. We mention the rumor of Ryan Reynolds appearing in Logan as Deadpool. We discuss which movies we personally called the “Best Geek Movie” of the year (Disqualifying Star Wars, because of course its going to be better than everything). And going ahead and giving our prediction for the best Geek culture movie of 2017. Lastly we close out with the last Battle of the Gods of the year with Suicide Squad vs Guardians of the Galaxy. After a long discussion we finish out with a 2-1 for Guardians.

So this week we’re joined by the double trouble Wiltse gang leaders, J and Darren Wiltse. We first talk about how slack everyone is at reading comics, then we talk about the entertainment weekly cover with the Justice League. Then Darren has a few words to say about Wonder Woman being appointed UN’s gender equality ambassador, but the promptly taken away. Then we start our Christmas with some reindeer games and discuss who everyone would be if they could live in any comic book characters shoes for a month. Then we play a trivia game Darren hastily put together :). Lastly we have an epic 2fer of a Battle of the Gods: Flash vs Shazam and Darkseid vs Thanos no infinity gauntlet.

So today’s episode we’re joined by the dynamic duo of Tyler Sprouse and Justin Wiltse. We first delve into the topic of Patrick Wilson being cast as Orm in the upcoming Aquaman film. Then we move on to the new x-men comic series’ set to start releasing early 2017. We discuss our prospects for the Spider-man Homecoming movie with our standing Spider-man expert. Pat talks about the announcement of Gotham City Sirens movie in production. Pat also talks about his take on the mid season finales of all of the DC CW TV shows. We play a friendly game of “Superfight” with J as Donatello, Sprouse as Flash again, Justin Green Lantern, and Pat as Doctor Strange. All in all we agreed doctor strange abilities would overpower everyone else. Lastly we round off the episode with our Battle of the Gods with Flashpoint Batman (Thomas Wayne) vs Earth 3 Owlman (Thomas Wayne JR.). Flashpoint Batman takes it home with a 3-1 over Owlman.
