The five keys to creative collaboration are — vision, trust, delegation, responsibility, and celebration. How can these things impact how business people collaborate effectively? In this week’s episode, let’s talk about the creative collaboration in business with my guest Andrew Gottlieb.
Part One of ‘5 Keys to Creative Collaboration in Business with Andrew Gottlieb’
Andrew Gottlieb is the Founder & CEO at No Typical Moments, a highly specialized digital marketing agency that works exclusively with purpose-driven and social impact-focused businesses to advance humanity collectively. He's also the co-author of 'The Two-Week Notice: How to Discover Your Passion, Quit Your Job & Impact Our World' published in May 2015. Written alongside two other young entrepreneurs, the book shares their entrepreneurial journey on how to awaken one's innate passion, committing to the process and finding a tribe that both supports and challenges one to become their greatest version.
A California Benefit Corporation and a proud member of the 1% For the Planet, at No Typical Moments, constantly evaluate and measure their revenue contribution to a global network of nonprofits engaged in solving some of the most critical environmental challenges of our time. It's no surprise that their team members are passionate about climate change, personal development, gender equality, and animal welfare, among others.
Giving back to the community and supporting local causes has always been Andrew's big passion. NTM donates time, resources, and expertise to several local and national nonprofits. Some of them are Outdoor Outreach, The Greatness Foundation, Haitian Families First, and The Ecology Centre.
Outside of work, he enjoys hiking, running, playing soccer and tennis, practicing Muay-Thai, and watching the Pittsburgh Steelers.
“Everyone needs to take that hundred percent responsibility for how they're showing up.” - Rae Irelan (14:34-14:39)
Admittedly, Andrew made some terrible hiring decisions in the past. He didn’t share similar values with them, which resulted in No Typical Moments not growing as it should be. There were a lot of egos involved on both sides. There was a lack of honest and upfront conversations about what they were supposed to be creating together. So, you see how compelling shared vision is.
He’s been working with Danny and Brittany for almost seven years now. They have contracts backing up everything they do. But he has a deep level of trust for them that those aren’t even necessary beyond documentation. As the company started growing, he became less involved in every email, every single client phone call, and day-to-day communication. When someone is doing something opposite to being trustworthy, they have a system to manage these hard conversations. It takes trust and setting boundaries to make relationships work. If you’re a business owner or aspiring entrepreneur, I’m sure you love it when someone shares the realness of starting and growing business.
Part Two of ‘5 Keys to Creative Collaboration in Business with Andrew Gottlieb
According to Andrew, the bottleneck that impacts a lot of entrepreneurs and early-stage companies when they won't delegate is, when the founder and CEO don't want to let go of the control guide. They're not honest enough with their strengths and weaknesses. If you decide to build your own company, that essentially means you're not going to do that skill set in the long term. You have to delegate, and you have to trust your hires to do that good or even better than you actually could. That’s what the delegation stage is about.
“There's so much to learn from the painful experiences of other people.” - Andrew Gottlieb (26:54-27:17)
When you're in a working environment, everyone needs to take that hundred percent responsibility for showing up. It's important to hold people accountable for what they said they were going to do and the results that they were putting up. He didn't fire people when, unfortunately, they should have been let go for lack of performance. That's a huge pain that he experienced while growing his company. Lastly, don’t forget to celebrate with gratitude and a reward system.
Here's the last piece of advice Andrew can offer: "At the end of the day when someone decides to leave your company, you need to wish them well and exit peacefully. If they were great for your company, write them a letter of recommendation, whatever it is. Just try to end on the best terms possible because you're going to see each other again, and you want that person to carry with them a good memory of how the CEO treated them well.”

Many successful leaders can attest that you change the way you think and the things you look at change. Wherever you are right now, I hope you stop holding on to stories, limitations, or experiences that make you feel small. Sometimes we might lose the signs that are there to support us on our path. In this week's episode, let's talk about what it means to have a growth mindset.
Are you a solution-oriented person? Some people brush off the essence of a growth mindset without realizing it can change their life, relationships, and business tremendously. Thus, I've always strived for a growth mindset. I take the time to pause and think, "How do I get a growth mindset, especially when things aren't working out?"
It's not an accident that you're reading this. You're here because you want to know how you can dial in even more, and that's a good thing!
“Figure out what's not working.” - Rae Irelan (03:10-03:12)
A growth mindset means you are aware of what's working and what you can celebrate. And if something isn't working out, you learn how to grow and expand. What matters is how you're focusing on the brighter side of the things rather than the negativities.
Part Two of ‘What Does A Growth Mindset Mean?
Whenever you experience any chaotic situations, remember that it's an opportunity for you to have a different perspective. What's your level of commitment when it comes to making the necessary adjustments and improvements? This is where the dreamers, the visionaries, the game changers, and the innovators go through the molding process and rise.
I encourage you to find a peaceful place where you can reflect and ask yourself, "What do I need to do differently to get the result that I want?" Our beliefs dictate our thoughts, which create our feelings and emotions. Then, it creates our actions, which then lead to our results. The results that you get depends on how dedicated you are to make them come to fruition.
“You have the power to choose a growth mindset.” - Rae Irelan (11:40-11:50)
Based on my experiences, I have proven that you can create whatever you want from a growth mindset because you're continually evolving and shifting. You're open to new perspectives, learnings, and directions based upon what you're experiencing. Don't allow your experiences to define what your future will hold. Your current situation isn't your final destination.
If you made it to this last paragraph and thought, "I'm losing my mind. I can't figure out a solution." Go find out what's working and what's not working. Create a space for gratitude to open up new opportunities and possibilities of what else is out there for you. What is the story you want to be telling about how you moved from a terrible situation to overcome it? Make that happen, brave warrior because I believe in you.

Even successful people have experienced feelings associated with imposter syndrome. Whether you have it or know someone else who does, there are actionable strategies to overcome it. In this week's episode, let's talk about overcoming the imposter syndrome in your coaching business.
Part One of ‘Overcoming the Imposter Syndrome in Your Coaching Business’
First of all, you must understand what imposter syndrome is all about so you can strategize better on how you can overcome it. It's a term used to describe the psychological phenomenon of intense feelings of self-doubt to the extent where people feel like a fraud, either in their personal or professional lives, though it's most frequently the latter.
If you're experiencing a roller coaster of emotions linked to it, I highly encourage you. It's something that YOU HAVE THE POWER TO OVERCOME!
We can stand more fiercely in our power, in our truth. We can be that bold leader that is showing up, acting, and speaking our truth, not just making it up and copying what someone else is doing. The world needs more innovators and game-changers. So, if this is something that resonates with you, then you're in the right place. Keep reading.
“Release judgment on yourself and from others.” - Rae Irelan (08:08-08:09)
I wonder how many people globally are experiencing imposter syndrome. You're probably here because there's something that you're holding yourself back from. Whether in your personal life, business relationships, personal development, or health, you know that all of these pieces are interconnected.
If one is being held back, you're not fully breathing into that expanded version of possibilities. I can guarantee you other areas of your life are also being damaged and being held back in this stagnant place. That's why it's essential to move past imposture, beliefs, and blocks that could be coming up while you're reaching your new level of identity and leadership.
I was once lost and asked myself, "I'm an artist. I'm a healer. How am I coach?" It was something that held me back for a long time when I wasn't able to fully claim who I was in the world, what my services were and how I wanted to show up. But I've discovered that the first thing you need to do when the imposter syndrome comes up is simply recognizing it and experiencing it. Feel how it is holding you back.
I do see a lot of people copying others out there. This is your time to do that reality check and get real with yourself. If there are pieces of you that you're copying or trying to portray someone else's identity, ask yourself, "Where am I not trusting my unique vision of what I want to be putting out into the world?" Trusting your voice will give you a more powerful answer so you can keep moving forward.
Part Two of ‘Overcoming the Imposter Syndrome in Your Coaching Business’
Once you've recognized the imposter syndrome, choose an aligned action that lets you stand in your truth, and not the extra garbage or other identities that don't serve you. How do you move purely into your next level of leadership?
Celebrate your authentic voice. When you do that, it opens up an opportunity for other people to say, "I see you, and I also feel like you see me." That would then lead you to attract more clients. So, continue to nurture yourself, your business, your voice, your healing, your growth, your perspectives, and even get new perspectives to see so that you can live in the highest version of yourself. That's where the full circle comes into play because you get to release comparison, release judgment on yourself, and also from others.
“There's no one else out there in the world that can say what you have to say.” - Rae Irelan (08:49-08:54)
Take time to nurture your business, your voice, your healing, your growth, your perspectives, and even get new perspectives to see, so you can live in the highest version of yourself. That's where the full circle comes into play because you get to release comparison, release judgment on yourself, and also from others.
Even if someone calls you fake or throws any negative comments against you, you won't get affected because you know where your truth is, where your authenticity is, where congruence is throughout your life, your business, and your values. Take a look at the bright side. It could be there to test you every time that you step to a new level of leadership.
I am so excited to witness anyone reading this to emerge into their real identity and release that ego and imposter syndrome. You are here on earth to serve others. People are waiting for you, love. Don't make them wait any longer. This is your time to rise!

Choosing Your Life (With Confidence!)
You may have been tuning into Soul Aligned podcast, where the main goal is to help high achieving leaders and driven visionaries do what they love and live their purpose. For you to live the life you've always dreamed of, you must have the confidence, which most of us have a love-hate relationship to. In this week's episode, let's talk about choosing your life with confidence.
Part One of ‘Choosing Your Life (With Confidence!)’
Growing up, has anyone ever told you, "You want to get a good job? Be confident!" Some people tend to scratch their heads when hearing this because our school systems taught us how to blend in rather than stand out, and they think it's way safer to be doing what everyone else is doing.
So, imagine this. You go to college, land an excellent job after graduation, and follow this particular path that's supposed to get you to the end. But eventually, at some point, you question yourself if that's the life you've always wanted to create. The truth is you have the power to choose your life!
“Your support systems can help you have a graceful transition into the life of your dreams.” - Rae Irelan (05:41-05:48)
You are in control, and you have the power to pivot what you're doing with your life at any point. That means pivoting your job, relationships, daily habits, eating patterns, exercise, spiritual practices, and how you're giving back to the community that you're in or the world as a whole. And so, it's essential to give yourself that quality of leadership or royalty in terms of sitting at the throne of your life.
Part Two of ‘Choosing Your Life (With Confidence!)
When it comes to getting clear around what you want, it's not supposed to look perfect. The road ahead of you may look messy because there are times when you choose something that you think you absolutely want, but end up realizing that it's not for you. But still, once you arrive in that space, it'll give you a new perspective to look around and find that deeper space of alignment.
Despite the crazy storm of events, know that transition doesn't happen immediately. There are some things that you need to work on consistently. You must be fully committed to living the life that you want. Keep listening to your inner guidance as it will lead you closer to your divine destiny.
“You have to be fully committed to living the life that you want.” - Rae Irelan (06:06-06:12)
We all desire to build something that can create a positive impact around us. So, start reclaiming your confidence and your trust with yourself. Follow that inner arrow or north star and take the necessary steps to get there. Don't live according to someone else's rules, standards, and values. There are days when you need to slow down a little bit while remaining focused on your goals. There could be little signs along the way to make these small micro-adjustments instead of continuing down the same wrong path.
Are you living your chosen life, and are you choosing it with confidence, conviction, love, and passion? Once you check-in, take that action and experience all that you can in life.

Business Intuition - Improve Your Acumen with These Daily Tactics
“Want to create something brand new? Listen to your inner intuition.” -Rae Irelan (01:08-01:14)
Everyone can start a business using their preferred strategies. But did you know that only those people who listen to their inner intuition create something brand new? I'd love to see you move forward in your business with more ease and more grace, as we discuss the daily tactics to improve your business intuition that will shift your reality for the better.
Part One of ‘Business Intuition - Improve Your Acumen with These Daily Tactics’
We all have unique bodies, personalities, energies, journeys, and stories. So, why should a business look the same across the board? If you want to stand out in the marketplace, you need to be able to dial in your intuition. Don't be a second-rate version of someone else. It's time for you to take bolder steps in your business and put new things out there the market has never seen before.
“Take bolder steps in your business and create new things the market has never seen before!” - Rae Irelan (01:41-01:49)
Listen to your body. This means listening to what it wants and what it doesn't want. For instance, listen to what it wants to eat. Listen to when it wants to rest or where it wants to sleep. Listen to when your body is in full gear, and it's ready to push through. Our bodies give us these different navigation points to understand how we can be most efficient with our time and energy.
The reason why we have our business is to create more freedom and expansion in our lives. It may be scary at the beginning when you feel your body demanding a break. If you're struggling to stop when needed, you are more likely to take that space that you need to kind of step away from whatever you are working on and see it from a new perspective. And usually, that's the time where something comes in crystal clear. You're able to make an exponential movement forward in your business.
We all have friends or family members who keep on pushing through until they get sick. So, this is a preventative measure so you can continue running your business, love your business, and serve more people for more extended amounts of time. If you consider your business as your mission here on earth, you need to avoid getting completely drained.
Part Two of ‘Business Intuition - Improve Your Acumen with These Daily Tactics’
Trust your inner voice. This can be a challenging one, but it's something that develops over time. Sometimes, that inner voice will not connect to our logical thinking. And when that happens, we need to honor it.
We've been taught that if it's not logical, then we must leave it out. But we're missing some vital information, knowledge, and inner wisdom by pushing anything that's not logical to the side. You want to still be strategic in terms of planning things out. But if you can open up to all those ideas, something new will come out of it.
“There’s no two people on earth exactly the same.” - Rae Irelan (02:10-02:13)
Also, when you're trusting your inner voice, this is when you might make those bold leaps of faith forward. Any successful entrepreneur will tell you there were times when they couldn't see the step on the other side, but they still took the risk.
It's a personal decision and a personal process. Don't be afraid to step into your highest self, your highest vibration, and be of excellent service. There are times when you will sense that intuitive drive to move forward, and then all of a sudden, it collapses. Never stress about making the wrong decision because we are all a work in progress.
Lastly, keep your body clean of toxic substances as much as possible so you can connect with all the energies that are outside of you. Consult your health coach and those people that are in your lives before making any drastic changes. Be aware of the toxins that you're putting into your body.

Passion in Business - The Incredible Secret to Authentic Prosperity
“If you're brand new to business and entrepreneurship, you must have the core components.” - Rae Irelan (02:13-02:20)
Almost everyone dedicates a lot of their time and energy to their work and business because they feel the need to create this sense of security and safety. But there's a way to infuse passion into your business while staying grounded. In this week's episode, we're going to be talking about passion in business and the incredible secret to authentic prosperity.
Part One of ‘Passion in Business - The Incredible Secret to Authentic Prosperity’
If we're not living with passion, what else are we here on this earth for? There's no other reason to go through the craziness of this human experience without enjoying the process.
If you're brand new to business and entrepreneurship, you want to make sure that you have the foundation laid before you start jumping into this sort of work. But those of you who have a foundation laid know what you're bringing to the world. You know what you're offering, know who your clients are, and start to infuse and begin to play with the possibilities of bringing more passion into your business. But passion in your business is not always the first step.
“You have the power to be the creator of your life and the creator of your abundance.” - Rae Irelan (08:00-08:06)
It's crucial to feel that excitement about building that foundation of your business. Always be willing to learn up to the point of going into places that are uncomfortable and unfamiliar. Sometimes, we are stressing ourselves out, and we're giving away so much energy. But that energy could have been easily directed into optimizing your business and your prosperity.
Part Two of ‘Passion in Business - The Incredible Secret to Authentic Prosperity’
It comes down to choice, awareness, and intention when you can be very clear on what is currently happening. That way, you can catch yourself if you do get into the state cycle of being stuck, whether you're holding onto something or you're just not connecting to that experience of wealth and abundance that we have around us at all times.
“Instead of stressing yourself out, focus on growing and optimizing your prosperity.” - Rae Irelan (10:03-10:15)
If you ever forget your key ways to live a passionate life in business and relationships, close your eyes and take a deep breath. If that's not enough, then go outside, because mother nature has got us covered. Remember that you are always supported to be your prosperous self.

Self-Sufficient Me // Self-Care For Entrepreneurs
“Your words are so powerful.” -Rae Irelan
There's so many of you out there that are wondering how you can take care of yourself with all of the changes in the world? How can you be self-sufficient so that you can participate more in the world? In this week's episode, Rae Irelan takes you through the three steps so you can give more and be a part of the change that we're experiencing and seeing in society today.
Part One of ‘Self-Sufficient Me’
Being self-sufficient comes down to being more connected, understanding yourself more profoundly, doing that deeper healing. From there, you can go out into the world, and you can take that fear, stand for what you believe in.
Number one is to have your own back. We're raised in a society where we aren't taught to have our backs. We have our parents and teachers who taught us to depend on one another. But it makes us less powerful from what we can be doing for ourselves. If no one has themselves, it's tough to be reliable and join forces with others.
“You get to choose which thoughts you want to keep.” - Rae Irelan
Having your own back is when you say you're going to do something or say you're not going to do something, and you can firmly stand in that power and have your own back when the situation or circumstances shift.
Take the time to pause and check the core intention you want to see being fulfilled? And if you have made a strong declaration with your words, then make sure that you can hold to those, because that's what we need in this world.
Part Two of ‘Self-Sufficient Me’
Number two is to give a voice to all of the thoughts and then be able to choose which ones you want to bring into your reality. Our words are powerful. If negative thoughts are battling inside your head, you're never going to take those more significant steps forward and see change happen.
You must give voice to all of the thoughts because all the thoughts want to be heard. They're there for a reason for safety, for protection, for comfort. Step into an empowered place of choosing which thoughts you want to keep, and you'll be surprised it will allow you to move forward in your life with so much more ease.
Number three is kindness. A lot of times, we are looking externally to receive that love and receive that support. And you can see this third step kind of slips into the second one as well because there is a moment where you get to choose how you love yourself.
I dare you to take at least one step that you can refine for this week. You don't need to do all three. All three will come naturally. Just take one that excites you the most. Dig into it a little bit deeper this week and see what comes up for you.

Making an Impact in the World - How You Can Embody Visionary Business Leadership - With Richard Andrew Salony
“Create a huge impact by combining spirituality and business together.” -Rae Irelan (00:51-00:56)
What does it look like to make a significant impact worldwide as a visionary business leader? In this week's episode, you're going to hear an amazing story about Richard Andrew Salony going from being a monk to working on Wall Street. It's all about combining spirituality and business.
Part One of ‘Making an Impact in the World - How You Can Embody Visionary Business Leadership - With Richard Andrew Salony’
Richard transitioned from wanting to be a millionaire when he grew up to experimenting with psychedelics, also known as hallucinogens; until he got introduced to meditation. But prior to the transformative period, he was living the American dream and always perceived America as the greatest country and the land of opportunity.
He wanted to become incredibly wealthy back then, and have all the things that the American dream promised. One day he suddenly felt empty to the point where he entered into something spiritual called the dark night of the soul. He wasn't sure what the alternative was, but he knew that there had to be something more. So, he abandoned the classic secondary education and went on an internal search to find himself.
“Holistic success is about being present and making a bigger impact.” - Rae Irelan (20:45-20:50)
This quest took him to a spiritual community in California founded by a disciple of paramountcy, Yogananda. Paramahansa Yogananda was an Indian monk, yogi, and guru who introduced millions to the teachings of meditation and Kriya Yoga through his organization Self-Realization Fellowship / Yogoda Satsanga Society of India.
Yogananda established a World Brotherhood Colony at his Self-Realization Fellowship Encinitas center in Southern California and found that organizing spiritual communities for families along the lines he envisioned would take much more time than he then had available.
Part Two of ‘Making an Impact in the World - How You Can Embody Visionary Business Leadership - With Richard Andrew Salony’
Anyone shares a mutual feeling when it comes to wanting to make a mark in the world. And sometimes, that could mean going through a turning point to try something different. It's not always about attaining worldly possessions but merely pursuing something that you love.
“You have the power to create positive ripple effects.” - Rae Irelan (22:54-23:01)
As Richard continues to thrive in business and building relationships, he learned that everybody has a unique gift that we must recognize, trust, invest into and find a way to make it more meaningful for others. You have to commit to be the best that you could possibly be. There's also something which we call the farming stage. This is where you get to plant in the field of your dreams and discover what value you can bring to this world. Lastly, always remember that whatever you're doing, do it with great love. You will experience tremendous success in your life because there is no greater success than connecting your love in a meaningful way.

EP28: Live Your Passion (Personal Growth Strategies)
Everybody has their growth strategies, but in case you feel a little lost, here's the perfect guideline that you need so you can live your life to the fullest. In this week's episode, Rae Irelan highlights the nine strategies that helped her succeed in life.
The purpose of these nine strategies is to allow yourself to emerge and connect with your passions on a deeper level so that you can go out there and be that light you were born to be. Share your message, share your passion with the world, and witness things shift into something more significant.
Part One of ‘Live Your Passion (Personal Growth Strategies)’
If you think you don't need to keep learning, that's your ego stopping you from exploring new things and possibly hinder you from reaching your highest potential. It is so important to always have a learner mindset so you can continually grow and evolve.
If you're determined to turn your vision into a reality and you're serious about having a kick-ass, fun, extraordinary life, you must find ways to learn and grow. It could be figuring out how you can improve your gifts or acquiring more skills.
“Commit to living an extraordinary life.” - Rae Irelan (04:02-04:04)
Take note of the possibilities and the opportunities that are coming your way. If you don't feel like you have many opportunities, start counting your blessings may be a good starting point. Step into that gratitude mindset because this is how the universe will respond to you if you begin to be grateful for all that you have. When you step into living your passions and creating change from those passions, bringing that into service in the world, then the world gets to shift with you.
Do things that most others won't. Take that risk. Be the leader. Take that courageous, inspired action. If you want to write a book if you want to travel around the world if you want to start your own business, whatever that is. Just go for it. Commit to being extraordinary and know that you will have to make some different decisions than probably other people in your life have made or are making. Do things differently and think differently. Be open to what that looks like and be open to the inspiration coming into your life from your passions, from the people, the environments that you're in, and allow that inspired essence to fuel you.
Part Two of ‘Live Your Passion (Personal Growth Strategies)’
If you want to be the creator of your life, you have to take responsibility for always being the creator of your life and that you created everything that came before this point. This can be hard. Many people are skipping this step and wanting to create from where they're at without taking responsibility for what they have already established in their life up to this point. Some call it spiritual bypassing. We want to make sure that every single thing that you're doing, thinking, being, experiencing, you're taking responsibility for it and owning it. It's such a powerful tool, and it will fuel you into being that creator of your reality.
Once you found them, nurture them because practice makes perfect and leads to being an expert of whatever you're passionate about. Believe in your passions on a deeper level, understand them, the ins and outs, and how beautiful they are. And then, you can start sharing them with the world. Fuel yourself up with this inspiration by listening to podcasts like this, by reading books, by going out in the world, and seeing what people are up to. And you will be inspired because some incredible people are doing incredible things out there. No doubt, you're one of those incredible people that's why you're reading this!
“Take the time to love yourself in every single way.” - Rae Irelan (10:04-10:07)
Create the relationships in your life that help supports you on this mission, on this journey of living your passions more fully and being on that journey of personal growth and self-discovery. You want to set yourself up for success. No one is going to be able to fully live out their passions by themselves because the world is revolving around relationships.
Celebrate your journey. Celebrate every single step along the way. Acknowledge all of your accomplishments. Often, we have grown up in this space where we're not supposed to brag. We're not supposed to be overconfident. We're not supposed to love ourselves. When you do that, you can feel this dissonance from the rest of society. And you can feel like an outcast. You can feel like you're going to be torn away from maybe people that you love, environments that you love, and yet know that this is all part of your process of being the best version of you. You want to make sure those on your team, especially those closest to you, are supporting you in your greatness. Sometimes, we have extra people that aren't supporting that. And that's fine. They're on their path. But make sure not to get too caught up into what they're believing.
Take the time to love every single freckle, every single lump that feels like it's out of place. Just love it for what it is while being on a personal development journey. Personal development can feel like you're being thrown off of a building, can feel crazy and terrifying, and all of your fears come up. And yet, it doesn't have to.
