In honor of national child abuse month we are going to be looking at one of indianas worst cases…The torture and murder of Sylvia Likens is widely regarded by Indiana citizens as the worst crime ever committed in their state and has been described by a senior investigator in the Indianapolis Police Department as the "most sadistic" case he had ever investigated in the 35 years he served with the Indianapolis Police. This episode will be unlocked for all of our listeners as we feel it is important for everyone to hear. If you see something, say something.

This is Jonathan Keith, and you are listening to Missing Midwest, a true crime podcast about those that have gone missing. Today’s episode is about a young woman who went to the bathroom at a bar, but never returned. There has been plenty of evidence suggesting foul play, but there have been no answers. Someone knows something.

He was arrested on October 18, 2014, for the murder of 19-year-old Afrikka Hardy in Hammond, Indiana and has confessed to the murders of six other female victims in Indiana. He led police to those women's bodies, all of which were found in five abandoned structures in

Gary, Indiana.

Today’s episode is about a spree killing that went through five of our Midwestern States. The FBI brought in the legendary profiler, John Douglas, to catch this guy, and they got him - but not before he created the longest rap sheet I have ever seen.
