Where is Jesus right now, and why does that matter for your life today?

In Week 2 of our Lift Off series, Mission Control, Pastor Ron Merrell walks through the ascension of Jesus to reveal what Christ is doing right now and why His reign, His intercession, and His Spirit change everything for believers today.

Through Luke 24:50-53, Acts 1:8-9, Hebrews 1:3, Romans 8:33-34, John 14:16-18, and Matthew 28:19-20, this sermon shows that the ascension was not Jesus leaving us behind. It was Jesus taking His place as reigning King, advocating High Priest, and the One who sends the Holy Spirit to empower His church.

This message reminds us that we are not abandoned in our circumstances, our failures do not remove us from His grace, and we are not left to figure life out on our own strength. Jesus reigns with authority, intercedes for believers, and gives the Holy Spirit so we can live faithfully and join Him in His mission.
