Raif is undoubtedly a legend, a true humble genius whose work ethic is unparalleled. Raif talks us through the story of how he came to choose the Evo platform that he now reigns over. Jake and the Evil Eagle certainly need no introduction. Jake has been racing his Eagle Talon before most of us were old enough to see over the dashboard. Jake is a true competitor, his Evil Eagle is a self built, flawless 1g that runs 7s consistently. He is an icon in our community and his status is beyond well deserved. Jake starts off talking about how he and the Evil Eagle came to be a team. He talks about what it was that drew him to the car and what his plans were when he got it. Jake goes through some of the countless setups he has had on the car over the years and which ones he liked, disliked and worked the best for him. Jake shares why, after all these years and numerous partouts, he continues to compete with this car and why he pushes it so hard to bring home the hardware at nearly every outing. Joe is another one who has been in our community for a very long time. His Starquest is not only an eye catcher but is also a low 9 second monster at the track. Joe shares his story of what it was that got him into our community in the first place. He talks about why leaving the AWD platforms behind has been a great decision for him. Joe outlines why keeping the G54B in the Starquest was never an option for him. He gives his advice on those with a Starquest or for those considering making the jump from to a rear wheel drive platform. Lucian is a cornerstone to our community, he's an innovator, a pioneer and he's been around our community for a long time. Lucian is to thank for a lot of fast Mitsubishis up in Canada including his own Evo X and Ralliart. He talks about what it is that got him into Mitsubishis in the first place and what it was that drew him to the Evo X. He shares his reasoning to keep the stock block intact and to push it to where he has. He talks about his “parts car” Ralliart and why he is pushing it as hard as he has, making some of the quickest 60ft times on the Ralliart list. Performance Destination fills a void in our community, a dedicated tuning shop specializing in whatever you drive and supporting every ECU that you use. Desmond is the man behind the shop, a true performance enthusiast himself, he does it all and services cars all around the world. Desmond gives us the amazing story of how and why Performance Destination came to exist. He explains what it is that got him into cars and what it is that drew him to the Mitsubishi community. We talk about who needs a tune for their car and what ECU may be best for which power levels. We talk about standalone vs stock ECU and which standalone would be best for your vehicle. Desmond talks about coming to his shop and getting on the rollers vs a remote tune vs him coming to you and tuning at your location depending on your needs. Jason and his YouTube channel has taught many of us in the community the ins and outs and the dos and don'ts of the DSM platform. Needless to say he is very knowledgeable, and he doesn't just talk the talk. His 9 second 2g is an absolute beauty to behold and you'd have a hard time telling from the outside but it's a pure function over form build. Jason tells the story that led to him owning his 2g and what grew his passion to not only build it but to chronicle it for the benefit of the community. Jason talks about his previous setups that helped achieve his time goals. He tells us a little about his off-season upgrades and what we can expect to see for 2023. Bryan has the quickest auto 2g on our 2g list and his plan to get faster is intense. He plans to step out of the minor league and swing with the big boys. Bryan goes over his plan and what it is that got him to build this car. Bryan talks about the struggles of being the only auto at the top and how it has motivated him to keep going.
