Jesse undoubtedly has the most unique car that anyone on this podcast has ever had. Even with limited use of his legs, Jesse is a real racer. He has reworked his 2g so that the brake and throttle can be controlled by his hands and he has made it so it suits his car for racing. Not just drag racing but circuit racing and autocross as well. Jesse starts off by telling us about the setup on his car currently. He then talks about what it was, years ago, that drew him to the 2g. He talks about converting the car to run on hand controls and what it took to make it not only work for driving but to work well for racing. Scott is an OG who has forever left his legacy impression on our community. Scott's RWD 1g is a car that I think of when I think of what DSMs are capable of. If you have not seen the picture of Scott's 1g doing a HUGE wheelie, hit me up and I will send it to you, it's too good to miss. Unsurprisingly, his RWD 1g has been in every magazine you could imagine. Recently Scott has stepped away from traditional drag racing in favor of drag and drive events. Scott starts off by telling us about the setup in his car that is powerful enough to pull those wheelies off. He tells us why he chose the 1g to begin with and what the car was like when he bought it before he cut it up to make it RWD. Jeff has one of the biggest personalities at the track, he is a fierce competitor but will drop anything to make sure a fellow DSM/EVO competitor makes it into the next round. Kyle's 2g is such an eye catcher, it’s something so different, especially at the Shootout and yet even among dedicated drag cars it still looks aggressive. Kyle is not just pushing his 2g in a form of motorsport that many others aren’t but he is also pioneering parts, techniques and chassis adjustments that are going to help others be successful at autocross and Max Effort. Kyle tells us a little about his setup including engine, suspension and aerodynamics. Kyle explains why he chose the 2g platform despite it not being very popular in autocross.
