The Starr Children’s Fund published “Cooking with the Starrs,” a cookbook filled with over 30 recipes from iconic football families in memory of the late Cherry Starr and her Starr Children’s Fund.
The cookbook features recipes from women of the NFL. The recipes range from traditional family recipes to game day specials, sweet treats and more, including:
Baked Sweet and Spicy Chicken from Mama Kelce, mom to Travis and Jason Kelce;
Grandma Nancy’s Christmas Cookies from Kami Love, sister to Packers’ Jordan Love;
Lemon Chicken Picatta from Dani Watt, wife of Steelers’ TJ Watt;
Chicken Salad Recipe from BreAnne LaFleur, wife of head coach Matt LaFleur;
Baked Potato Soup from Gabrielle Dillon, wife of Green Bay Packers’ AJ Dillon;
Chicken Piccata from Gabriella Watt, wife of retired Derek Watt;
And Peanut Butter Cookies from Shannon Starr, granddaughter of legendary Green Bay Packers’ Bart Starr and his wife, Cherry.
These women, along with several other famous NFL families, contributed their recipes to honor Cherry Starr and raise funds for a great cause.
“Cooking with the Starrs” will be available for purchase online at StarrChildrensFund.org on Tuesday, Oct. 1. The foundation’s partners, Packers Pro Shop and Rawhide Museum in Wisconsin, also are selling the cookbook in-store and online.
Proceeds from “Cooking with the Starrs” sales go toward pediatric cancer research and care.
