Shock and awe Mizzou football is 3-0. The Tigers took down Kansas State 30-27 after a 61-yard SEC record-breaking field goal by Harrison Mevis had the Mizzou fans storming the field in a frenzy. We broke down the entire game including Brady Cook's spectacular performance at QB as he powered through an injury, another amazing Luther Burden performance, the Tigers sharing the wealth on offense, improved offensive line play, with the occasional penalty, Blake Baker's defense stepping up when needed and of course, Harrison Mevis' heroics to cap off one of the best games in recent Mizzou football history (00:00:00-00:42:48).
We're joined by former Kansas State defensive end & co-host of the Bleav in K-State podcast, Reggie Blackwell who was at the game and gave his thoughts on Mizzou's performance from a K-State perspective. We talked about what went wrong for the Wildcats from penalties to miscommunication to the Tigers' play-calling. Plus, Blackwell talked about his games against Mizzou as a player and his connection to the Tigers (00:42:48-00:59:59).
