In our largest Box Office update segment of the year, we do a bit of a state of the industry report to open the episode. Disney is still raking in the dough with Star Wars, and we dive into a follow up conversation about The Rise Of Skywalker. This will be our non-spoiler portion of this follow up cuz there's a bookend to the show as we talk a bunch more about the Skywalkers at the show's end as well.

We also ask some questions about the state of big budget Hollywood musicals, how Sony has crushed it in 2019, and we wonder which Christmas releases will continue a steady build to profitability. Knives Out, & Frozen II are Thanksgiving holdovers still making bank, but will Little Women, Uncut Gems, or Bombshell gain an Oscars boost?
