It’s Monday, and that still means MMO Weekly. Eventually, we’ll switch MMOW’s time slot with our Oscar Race Checkpoint show. You’ll want those awards show recaps, and we’ll eventually lead off our week’s programming with those. But for now, MMOW is in its rightful place, and we’re very glad to have it here. This was another loaded week for movie news stories, and we don’t bury the many leads.

News of the Week discusses the irresistible Disney+, ESPN+, & Hulu package deal, the enormous price tag for GoT creators David Benioff & DB Weiss to join up with Netflix, and of course, the huge news about The Hunt being pushed or scrapped after the political climate and current event disasters influenced Universal. It’s another debate here.

Because the rest of the big news stories were so juicy this past week, we continued with Do You Care(?) as we chat about Venom 2’s new director, Amazon’s Simon Pegg / Nick Frost series, how de-aging effects & deep fakes will likely cause WWIII, the announcement about Coming To America 2(!!!), Annapurna exploring chapter 11, The Lord of the Rings tv show, Moviepass, Edgar Wright’s next movie, & the re-make of The Lady and the Tramp.
