Some say hope is only for the weak

But what if it's all you've got 

In our darkest moments, hope is what we hold on to if we want to continue to live

In the face of the unknown, hope is what gives us a chance to dream of a bright future 

I've personally gone through quite a rough time recently and will probably pause or stop recording my podcast but before that and in the hope of a bright new year I'll be sharing my last episode for this year and it's about....hope

Even if the future might look "bleak " to some. Hope was never a calculation. Perhaps it's more of a leap of faith. Faith in how the orchestrated universe seems to find a way. What do you hope and plant a seed of?

My guest is Dima Elhori a physician who likes to contemplate while having a walk in the forest. She also likes to listen to Arabic music especially the Egyptian singer Amr Diab.

To get to the depth of whether something is right or wrong: ask yourself why and when you get an answer, ask why again and when you get an answer, ask why a third time. That last answer will allow us to see if it's moral or not

He also gives a very simple rule of thinking in terms of ¨we¨ instead of ¨me¨ to be as moral as we can in every situation and encounter.

How selfish are you?
Is selfishness bad? I don't usually like to answer in a no or yes form but yes it is.
Selfishness is bad.

How has propagation of self-care been turned into propagation of selfishness

Mohamed Khalifa is an Egyptian television and film director. He holds the UAE’s Cultural Golden Visa for exceptional talents in the arts. He graduated from the University of Toronto with a BA in cinema studies in 2006. Khalifa is the founding director of the groundbreaking Bassem Youssef satirical television show aired on multiple channels, including CBC and MBC, from 2011 to 2014.

In Egypt and perhaps other Eastern countries, there's an expression called ¨Westerner´s complex¨ where the person feels as if anything coming from the West is better and more valuable than what the country has.  
Lets listen to what Dr Sherif Kamel has to say about that developed trait or behaviour and if it´s still as prevalent today as it was before.
