What is the Modern Witches Community?

Through events, educational content, and community we aim to heal and honor the collective’s relationship to the witch. Witches are our teachers, wise ones, brujx, mentors, herbalists, empaths, storytellers, and weavers of the world. Witches help us tap into our innate powers, and through community, they guide us closer to collective healing.  The Modern Witches Confluence community is creating a sacred container for those witch-curious, witch-identifying, and magically minded to authentically connect and learn. Our community includes seekers, astrologers, healers, shape-shifters, mystics, artists, activists, and more. What makes our community so radiant is the diversity of spiritual paths that are practiced and honored here, each with respect and reverence.  ✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨

✨✨⠀HAPPY LIBRA SEASON - AUTUMN EQUINOX✨✨⠀

The Equinox may be a celestial event, when the Sun moves from Virgo to Libra and day and night are equal in length… however, the energetic effects of Equinox have already begun and will resonate and ripple through the next week or more… Tune into your own organic process and acknowledge when your body and your spirits are ready to celebrate the Equinox. Rituals and observances that speak to your lineages, dreams, desires, and personal perspectives will be the most fruitful for you. Make it elaborate, make it subtle, make it happen in your pajamas!

Authenticity in magic is key to cultivating your craft, and manifesting the change and healing you wish to create.

May the Equinox blessings flow!

✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨⠀

A little bit about our Astrologers:

Karima is an Astrologer, Tarot Reader, and Witch. She studied astrology with the Faculty of Astrological Study in London where she learned traditional astrology and was able to understand the language of the cosmos. Fascinated by the unseen world and the human mind. She has been studying all kinds of magic and signed up for many psychological classes in the city. Her practice of astrology is intertwined with the tarot which helps her get more insight into the transit. As an activist and politician, Karima's purpose is to help people during a period of time where they feel lost and misunderstood by the world.

Mariana is a Circassian Astrologer, Writer and Creator. Born and raised in an ethnically segregated area of Russia, she moved to the US at the age of 18. Before pursuing astrology as a career she graduated from theater school in NYC, worked as an event organiser and grant writer for Environmental non-profit. From the moment she started the exploration of the Cosmic language in 2011 everything began to change and shift. Astrology has become a tool of self-discovery, slow unfolding of the potential and a language through which one can connect to the Cosmos and to one’s true self. Mariana has studied Astrology on her own for 4 years before she began taking courses at Moscow Academy of Astrology. She likes to weave traditional astrological techniques with modern astrological findings. Mariana believes that the main purpose of her work is to help students and clients to find their own inner teacher, guide and connect to their unique path through the art of Astrology.
